Today is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons 🌍 ICMPD highlights the relevance of multi-sectoral responses with a whole-of-route approach to combat trafficking of human beings (THB).
📌 Trafficking is a cross-border issue that requires data, national and international cooperation, experience exchange, capacity development, and cross-border mechanisms to refer and protect victims, exchange information, prosecute traffickers, and overall prevention.

#InFocus 🌍 On 27-28 March, the 13th Ministerial Meeting of the Brdo Process and the conference of the Network of Anti-Trafficking Coordinators in South-Eastern Europe (NATC-SEE) took place in Kranj, Slovenia.
🤝 The Brdo Process endorsed the NATC-SEE Strategy 2025-2029.
🤝 Delegates issued a Joint Declaration calling for enhanced security and regional cooperation, including the need for law enforcement authorities’ continuous and rapid adaptation to perceived changes in the criminal environment and contemporary security challenges.
