After 30 yrs of critical service, @AmeriCorps is in jeopardy of shrinking by at least 30%. Join @Voices4Service, @states4service and @ServiceYear on 2/8 for a virtual day of action. It will take just 2 mins to use our tools to contact your lawmakers & ask them to #Stand4Service.

I waited outside of the arena after @UConnWBB played VT when I was a student, just so I could get a picture with @DianaTaurasi. No one in Blacksburg cared that the Huskies were in town, but this CT native did. Love her and love what this accomplishment does for the sport.

Lots of conversations happening about small towns thanks to a certain country song, & I’m just popping in here to say that rural America is not a monolith. Rural people have a diversity of thought & opinions & experiences. Disrupt the narratives. Disrupt the stereotypes.

How this is even on the table is mind blowing. @AmeriCorps serves in all states, all areas of the country, all political identities. Remind your elected officials why it’s important. bit.ly/FY24AC
