On October 8, 2026, Alex Bagada, the Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions and Head of the Homicide Division, reportedly walked into a sauna in Bugolobi, Kampala, for what appeared to be an ordinary relaxation session. By the following morning, however, the senior prosecutor was lying unconscious in a bush in Wakaliga, his mobile phones and personal belongings missing, and what would later emerge as a reported Shs129 million loss from his bank account. At the centre of this extraordinary sequence of events is an unidentified woman whom police are now seeking to trace.
