﴿وَ أذكُرٌ رَّبَّكَ إِذا نَسيتّ﴾ سُبحان الله الحمدلله لا إله إلا الله اللهُ أكبر لا حول و لا قوة إلا بالله بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم سُبحان الله و بحمده سُبحان الله العظيم استغفر الله و أتوبُ إليه اللهم صلِ وسلّم على نبينا محمد لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين

To be honest, I feel like everything that happened this year needed to happen. It allowed me to see that everybody isn’t meant for me, to learn how to set boundaries, to stop oversharing, and to stop overplaying my part. This year didn’t break me, it made me.

Emotional maturity begins with accepting that not everyone will have the emotional capacity to show up for you in the way you need.

From the many hopes I have, I only hope that I can live with a calm heart and be better than I was before.

I will always believe that effort is a choice. If someone truly wanted to, they would. Because when I wanted to, I did.

The biggest lesson I learned this year is that sometimes you need to stop seeing the good in people and start seeing what they actually show you.

How disgusting everything feels once you realize how much you’ve done for ungrateful people who never appreciated any of it.

As long as my forehead still touches the ground in sujood, I know I’m never alone.

When my own energy is off, I stay away from people until I get myself together. Isolation heals me, and some people just wouldn’t understand that.

If I ever get the chance to escape all of this and go far away, I’ll make sure I never return.

He knows you’re funny. He knows you’re pretty. He knows you’re a good person. He knows you love him. He just doesn’t want you.

My attempts with you were because you were dear to my heart, not because you were my only choice.

The silence after you’ve accepted something you never wanted to accept.

A hungry dog will never be loyal.

I never wish to be easily defined.

Am I walking towards something I should be running away from? -This question terrifies me.

Maybe all roads lead back to the loneliness I felt as a child.

You carry your pain so gently people mistake it for peace.

Be so rooted in yourself that nobody’s absence or presence can disturb your peace.

May your success be louder than your pain, doubts, and struggles. I pray the life you’re building is everything you once cried for. Keep going, you’ve got this!
