Did you know that it takes 17 International Water Days to create a single #InternationalCoffeeDay?

This is the "fully-grown" dragon I've been talking about. Finally online with Open Access. A new format of "differentiable" models that is, simultaneously:
process-based, learnable, regionalized, highly-efficient, high-performance, well-generalized, and multiphysics.Cover page
My most exciting work so far on systematic integration of deep learning and physical model is published in WRR. dx.doi.org/10.1029/2022WR032… To summary, now we have a regionalized physical model with similar performance to pure data-driven LSTM, achieving NSE median 0.732 in CAMELS.
Want to know how #groundwater in the Kansas High Plains might be depleted? Interested in machine learning for water resources? New paper from Soheil Nozari: authors.elsevier.com/c/1fx4U…
Today is my first day running the geology faculty meeting.
In my E-mail with the agenda I said we would have a pop quiz.
Now we find out 1) who reads bureaucratic E-mails carefully and 2) whether it's true that tyrants who abuse their power will be overthrown. Muahahaha!

We wondered why some irrigation systems were stained with rust, while others looked new and shiny? It's not just the age of the pivot, and it has implications for understanding groundwater quality! #nitrate #Nebraska (based on provisionally accepted article by @CherryMikaela)
Agrohydrology folks at #FIHM2022, consider attending a session Sam Smidt and I are convening, "Forming the Future of Agrohydrology Research"!

Ever wondered the value of water? Spoiler alert: it's a lot. We think @HydroHaacker would agree! #GroundwaterAwareness Week ow.ly/YUfp50Ifs6w
Alright #gradlife: since becoming an assistant professor in 2019 I've had 15 (fif! teen!) advisees and co-advisees from undergrad through PhD level. I'm so used to giving unsolicited advice nowadays, I thought it was time to scale up to Twitter. So here are my top 3 gems:
