Here’s some unsolicited advice for creating content or video editing: Save Audio Clips. The more unique the better the more personal the better. Make even the editing uniquely yours don’t just follow a template.
If these studios were consistently making good games that people actually wanted to buy and stick with, a lot of them probably wouldn’t be in this position. You can blame “chuds” all day, but eventually the industry has to make games gamers actually give a shit about.
The gaming industry has already lost 10,977 jobs in 2026, according to the ASGC Games Industry Layoffs Tracker.
That’s more than the entire 2025 total, and the year isn’t even over. The tracker estimates that losses could reach 13,077 by December.
Around 35 studios have also shut down, with 161 studios affected by layoffs.
>BioWare: EA closed the studio and canceled the next Mass Effect, which was still in early development.
>Sucker Punch: Around 24–26 employees were laid off.
>Microsoft is planning around 3,200 job cuts
>Arkane Lyon: Around 217 jobs are at risk.
>Supermassive Games: More than 70 employees were laid off.
>DON’T NOD: Up to 85 jobs could be affected by its restructuring.
For comparison, the industry lost 15,631 jobs in 2024 and 9,197 in 2025. 2026 has already surpassed last year’s numbers
Why are so many fandoms so stupidly toxic? I don’t even watch Burnt Peanut, but he literally got the same deal as any other content creator. I genuinely don’t understand why people go out of their way to attack others over shit that has absolutely no impact on their lives.
So let me get this straight…
Burnt Peanut simply played the game got dlc, the DBD community harassed him, then went after the developer with harassment and attempted doxxing, but somehow they’re turning around and blaming Peanut’s community, claiming THEY were the ones being attacked first?
