Now, after clashes with the Trump Pentagon, the paper’s longtime publisher is leaving and its editor-in-chief has publicly described disagreements with Pentagon leaders.
That is what pressure on an independent military press looks like.
Support the troops means listening to their families—not discrediting them or punishing the journalists who report the truth.
