All of the roads in the Glatton vicinity, including the A1M, have now reopened.

Officers are dealing with a suspicious vehicle in the Glatton area. Specialist officers are on scene and a 400m cordon has been put in place as a precaution. Surrounding roads have been shut including the A1M in both directions between Brampton and Haddon.

Please be advised that there is a substantial delay currently on the A1 southbound near Sibson Hollow following an RTC involving a couple of vehicles. Emergency services are on scene and we hope to have traffic moving again as soon as possible.

Police are currently on scene assisting with a fire at the recycling centre in Marston road, Eynesbury. Fire are advising all local residents to keep windows and doors shut due to the smoke.

Areas of Godmanchester are currently experiencing power issues following a electrical substation fire. Emergency services and UK Power Networks are also working on restoring the power as soon as possible. UKPN is hoping to have power restored later this evening.
