Our politics and politicians have been in the gutter for quite some time, starting with Thatcher, we had a brief respite in the early Blair years, but after the banking collapse it’s been a downward spiral, to the point where all politicians now openly declare huge bribes.
Once the current King dies that should be the end of the monarchy, it’s funding and revenue streams from hospitals, MoD land rentals, fishery grounds and other nefarious ways of stealing our money. They can stay on as ceremonial figures, but not at our cost!
When we organise large groups, like the unions did to gain workers rights, they had to respect the working class. That worked until Thatcher ordered privatisation and union destroying tactics. It’s time to organise ourselves again and demand the rebalancing of our economy!
No, if the owner can’t be fucking arsed to pay a sufficient wage why should I supplement his business?

We should ban expenses, donations (bribes), subsidised living and entertainment.

Older people have to keep working to survive, young people can’t find opportunities to work. The government should re-nationalise utilities and invest in our own energy and defence industries create jobs, no more outsourcing to bolster foreign economies.
