The anti-woke brigade cheering the closure of BioWare while being totally OK with EA being sold to Saudi Arabia couldn’t be a better representation of how they literally stand on nothing besides sticking it to the “libs”.

But everyone was okay with The Bride from Kill Bill. Also a rape victim. It's ridiculous. Boiling rape victims down to just rape victims, fictional or not, is very shitty. You're not being holier than thou as much as you think you are. You're just a performer wanting likes.
A vocal group of Fortnite players are calling for a boycott of Epic's battle royale game after a skin of Obsession’s Nikki Freeman, played by Inde Navarrette, sparked backlash among fans. bit.ly/47PCHS5

I swear some of y’all are acting offended by this just for the clicks, atp. Recycling the same buzz phrase “maybe I’m too woke” tweets every time there’s a new development. To continue to reduce her character to only a being a rape victim, is seriously doing a disservice to arguably the biggest female horror character and lead of the year, but also rape victims in general. The fact is that her character was still scary. It’s a horror movie for fucks sake. Imagine policing a real life rape victim the way you police this character, and limiting them and what they could achieve, because you put a label on who they are due to what they’ve been through. This is my opinion as a rape victim to myself, and I’m entitled to it. If anyone wants to challenge it, that’s totally okay. But I really think we’ve lost the plot of what horror is and we’re picking and choosing which notorious characters can have massive achievements or not, despite many of them being “problematic.” This was the biggest ORIGINAL horror movie of the year. Let it have its success.

people as usual are so weird about this movie
everyone understands that nikki is a victim. nobody is contesting that. frankenstein's monster is a victim but is also universally accepted as a horror icon. so is carrie white, leatherface, JASON, etc etc etc

Nikki (Obsession) x Fortnite
Horror movies with serious topics are now forced to be marked with a "SUPER SERIOUS!" tag by law to prevent any "serious" (scary) topics to coming to games like Fortnite and Dead by Daylight. Adding any of these movies to a game will now be punishable.

So it's justifiable to shoot a 1 year old Black child?
Got it. 😐

What is this trend of shitting on every YT creator on twitter? One day, someone's shitting on Zanny style creators and the next day they're shitting on Austin/Bizly style creators. What's next? Attacking Riloe/Deef style creators? Why do so many people on here dislike EVERYTHING?

I'm not an Oney dick rider, I don't think someone like you who thinks of women like should be trying to call out another weirdo that treats women poorly as well. You are the WORST person to talk about this subject

the uk killed a trans woman with cancer by refusing to give her treatment for her illness. "but what rights are you losing?"
sick fucks. rest in peace, joelle. never another sister.
A trans woman died because of the UK’s new hospital ward policy forcing them men's wards. Joelle was only 27 — a musician, coder, and daughter. This is what happens when they care more about demagoguery, backwards views of sex, non-existent risk than people's well being.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Joelle's case dates to 2023 after a Conservative minister's ward announcement, not the Oct 2026 NHS biological-sex guidance. The Trans Legal Clinic page ties it to that earlier event.

One short snippet that everybody naturally knows the context to alone debunks the "People ALWAYS loved the prequels!" bullshit.
Nobody actually hated the Star Wars prequels. The idea that they were universally despised is one of the greatest psy-ops in internet history. Just follow the money.
From 1999 until Disney derailed the franchise in 2015, there was an absolutely relentless avalanche of prequel merchandise. Cartoons, video games, LEGO sets, novels, Halloween costumes, clothes, lunchboxes, bedsheets, school supplies. You couldn’t walk into a Walmart without seeing Darth Maul or a Clone Trooper staring back at you.
For FIFTEEN YEARS.
Name one other supposedly “hated” movie that had an entire generation of children begging their parents to buy literally anything associated with it more than a decade and a half after its release.
And yet everyone talks about how the prequels were eventually “rehabilitated,” as though public opinion underwent some miraculous reversal.
Bullshit. They were always beloved.
The only thing that changed was that the millions of normal kids who grew up loving Star Wars finally got old enough to wrest control of the internet away from the same bitter, petulant NEETs who’d spent decades blaming George Lucas for ruining their childhoods because admitting they’d wasted the rest of their lives was too painful.
