Yes! This! – at Pitsford, England
Another day, another scheme aimed at early-career playwrights with age criteria. There are MANY reasons why artist may be emerging later in life, let's understand that and uplift people who have experienced substantial barriers in their careers!
ALT Emerging and early career does not equal under 30. Talent does not have an age limit. But enforcing one adds to barriers experienced by people of marginalised genders, of the global majority, working-class and disabled people.
I had the absolute pleasure of supporting @Ishi2funny with her Genfest performance of 'Strawberry' @RoyalDerngate in the beautiful Royal Theatre. Such fun. #genfest #theatre #comedy #facilitator – at Pitsford, England
