Top 8 in Turin with Pink Pony Bolt. Very happy with how the tournament went especially considering I picked up the deck this week. Losing in Top 8 at an SPE is kinda chill considering there's no 10K to claim, so I'm happy the Trevenant guy gets to mog on freEU. Shoutout @Alloutblitzle for the deck. We changed 2 cards together, one was his suggestion and one was mine. His was amazing and mine was trash all weekend. Idk why Prism Tower is on my Limitless page since that card is turbo garbage. Feeling super confident about the deck, so I'll be running it back for NAIC. Thank you to my team @ProjArtemisPKMN for the support. Especially @ViperTCG_ for finally being a second European on the team and doing a good job casting. Thank you to our sponsors @HeavyPlayLLC and @FCBCArmor. I've played like 50 tournaments this season and haven't gotten a single deck check penalty and my Heavy Play equipment has survived a few season of road trips, ungodly train trips and the like. Happy to bring out my deckbox with another Top 8 sticker. Use the code. Heavyplay.com/ARTEMIS #DeerTime

I was honestly surprised Japanese players didn't play faster at first because a tie is a double game loss, but if you take more than 30 minutes then you're actively slowplaying (on purpose or not) or your deck is way too slow. So it makes sense. I try to make all my decisions myself without leaning on the established status quo. Most things about my playstyle is fairly unique in that regard. For example I spread out my discard pile and sort it so it's easier to see for us and spectators. The goal of the things have always been to find the most fun and optimal ways of playing Pokémon. The least fun way to play Pokémon is to sit there with 4 ties, no bathroom break and getting annoyed at slow opponents when in reality you're matching their speed. Ties, gentleman's agreements, rushing etc are all things I hate, so I have developed my playstyle to play faster and shortcut at every possible place. I recommend also building your playstyle around how you enjoy playing the game. Japanese players often prefer playing slower because that's what can often give advantages at home, Norwegian players often prefer playing new brews and innovating as much as possible, Danish players often prefer to play whatever @StecherCro tells them to play (very effective btw) etc. Infinite ways of playing the game
