source - EIA for the reclamation of Sh. Milandhoo airport. And THIS is what these "environmental impact assessors" have done to a Maldivian island, knowing full well the deep and irreparable destruction it will cause. What a way to earn a living !!

A "limitation" of EIAs in the Maldives is that "field work is typically conducted within a period of 2-4 days". Who'd think tht "educated" Maldivians wd accept this as a reasonable way to earn a living, as they participate to destroy socio-economic foundations of communities?
