With an in-room #Kigali focus only, I’m wondering what @INGSciAdvice @PresINGSA @JeremyFarrar @DenisNaughten @daandutoit @africascidip @HumanomicsMap are doing to unlock the mega potential of Africa’s science diaspora worldwide, young & old? Can @IngsaAfrica help map this? @WFSJ – at Cape Town, South Africa

Myth 3: Social media are echo chambers.
No, research shows that, for most, social media breaks the bubble. We are more connected to "the others" on social media than in our offline lives. That is why it feels unpleasant - because it is the most hateful "others" we meet.

Thought-provoking and inspiring project👇Yet, we shouldn't forget #openscience is about much more than open texts. #SSH produces commentary, advice, content, learning and change in many forms other than publications 📚
