I heard there was once this carpenter who said we should love our neighbours, the stranger, and even our enemies. You know, I think maybe he was on to something.
I remember the Bible has some things to say about idols and false prophets.
Despite that, and the number of his followers who jnsit they are Christian, this is verging on worship of a man.
He shows barely restrained rage.
We are told self-control is a Fruit of the Spirit, but it is lacking here.
Separate from the way he's treating the press, it'd be highly preferable if the person with control of the nuclear launch codes was better able to regulate their emotions.

So we're at the "threating people with Hell if they don't vote for Trump" stage of campaigning now. 🔥

I don't know what's more appalling.
That whoever posted this on an official Trump administration account doesn't know how horrific that choice of language is.
Or they do know, and they just don't care.
.@POTUS absolutely roasts Mongoloid Moron @AndrewFeinberg for his disgraceful behavior:
"What's wrong with you? Are you a sick person? I actually think there's something wrong with you."
This is how authoritarianism gets wrapped in religion.
When a politician is seen as doing God’s work, questioning him becomes questioning God.
That’s a dangerous mindset in a democracy. No leader is divinely appointed or above accountability.
They’re not even pretending this is about religious freedom anymore. They’re openly discussing plans to seize political power and impose their religious ideology on everyone else.
When Christian nationalists tell us what they intend to do, we should believe them.
Racist white nationalist pastor Joel Webbon says his upcoming conference will begin the process of laying out "battle plans" for "Christian nationalists on the right to be able to seize power": "This is here to stay. And it's not if we win, it's when we win" peoplefor.org/rightwingwatch…

What's especially creepy about it is that the second, psychotic "Quiet!!!!" is supererogatory, because the reporter was already quiet. It's just a display of uncontrollable rage, which is...not really what you want from a guy who can dispatch the nukes.

OH MY GOD!!!
This just played as Trump walked into his rally in North Carolina. This is not normal.
"So God gave us Trump."
"So God made Trump."
"So God gave us Trump."
"So God made Trump."
MAGA is a cult.

We all saw that disturbing footage yesterday of trump snarling at a reporter in the Oval Office.
But do you know what that reporter was trying to ask?
Trump just announced a new program that rewards people for reporting government fraud.
The reporter simply wanted to know why we need this new program when we’ve already had a law doing something similar since 1863, and that law actually pays whistleblowers a higher percentage.
THAT’S A DAMN GOOD QUESTION.
And here’s the crazy part. There was a perfectly reasonable answer! The new program is supposed to cover types of fraud the old law doesn’t.
THAT’S IT. THAT’S ALL HE HAD TO FUCKING SAY.
Instead, we watched the president and vice president turn a legitimate question into a confrontation.
This man is unhinged. The way he reacts to questions is disturbing. He treats every question like a personal attack. Every reporter is an enemy. Even the simplest fucking question becomes some kind of threat.
And that’s what worries me. We have a president who appears so defensive that he can’t even handle someone asking him to explain his own policies.
This is the President of the United States, folks.
And this shit is NOT normal.

The White House posting Down syndrome slurs on official media accounts to attack a journalist. Is there no bottom to this depravity?

Replying to @HumanistQuaker
Trump- "My favorite Bible verse is eye for an eye."
Perhaps what the person is like and what they do are also contributing factors.

This says everything about the Trump presidency. Trump's doctors keep giving him tests for dementia because they are worried he's suffering from it. The jerk thinks it's an intelligence test and keeps bragging about how well he did.
The test Trump keeps crowing about is the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), a 30-question screening designed to detect mild cognitive impairment and early signs of dementia or Alzheimer's disease. It's not the flex he thinks it is to have "aced" it.

Interesting.
He'll clearly have fervent supporters in all groups still (and Christian votes remain crucial for him), but on average it looks like Trump support across a wide variety of denominations is waning somewhat?
Maybe his people have read this data?axios.com/2026/10/13/midterm…
