@wesstreeting just caught you on @GMB talking about #attackads and wanted to let you know, sharing and stats might also indicate how many people have been turned off by them; sharing in horror. I for one am thinking of not bothering to vote @UKLabour for the first time in my life

I try to keep these injustices in mind, ever since first hearing about them. Watching tonight is challenging my faith, reminding me of all those in other situations with lives destroyed by corruption and it’s making me cry. Why? Why? Why? People can be so cruel. #BBCPanorama

I’d heard this had happened, but seeing it with my own eyes is truly wonderful to behold. What an absolute legend! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Gloria surely Virginia and other accusers should take this all the way to court, not settle and reveal the truth as conclusively as possible even if β€˜proved’ wrong. Don’t settlements undermine the legal profession and leave to much doubt floating about? bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m00140…

At only 1.1C of warming today, those least responsible for the climate crisis are facing head-on devastation. Wealthy nations must deliver on their $100 billion/yr pledge to help poorer countries adapt to the effects of #climatechange and reduce their emissions. 4/4

⚠️ We have 9 years left to save the world as we know it. There is no Plan B. #G20 nations account for 80% of global emissions. They must step up to their responsibility and increase ambitions to cut emissions ahead of #COP26 in November. 3/4

Scientists warn that CO2 emissions must fall by 45% by 2030 to limit global warming to 1.5C. The @UNFCCC found that current pledges on emissions from 191 national governments would result in a 16% *increase* in emissions by 2030 compared with 2010 levels. 2/4

Read you in @guardian today. Brilliant! Saddened, no horrified by your experience with Prince; have loved his music over the years and this side of him had totally passed me by. Knowing you gave money from your successful second album as penance made me smile deeply inside. XXX

This is a complete scandal. Testing and tracing should have remained with the competent bodies, the NHS and local authorities. Instead we have failure, enormous costs and cronyism. theguardian.com/world/2020/d…

Listening to you on @BBCRadio4 and wondering is it’s ever appropriate to respond to statistics highlighting how much better things are these days with β€˜Ah yes!’ β€˜But are we as improved as we should be given passed time and the technological developments available to us today?’

A new President means a fresh start to tackle old problems: inequality, racism, a refugee crisis, climate change, and now, a global pandemic. Now let's get to it. Here's to hope.
