A trained teacher can protect an entire generation.
After receiving pro-life and chastity formation through HLI Rwanda, Sister Adeline knew she had a responsibility to protect the students entrusted to her care.
As the head of a school, Sister Adeline has created a strong pro-life club and is committed to ensuring her students receive a message of truth about human dignity, chastity, and the value of every life.
When anti-life groups attempted to bring contraceptive programs into her school, Sister Adeline stood firm. Because she had received the training and formation she needed, she was prepared to defend her students from messages that undermine the dignity of human life.
This is why teacher training matters.

A generation is rising to defend life.
Students at Natola Secondary School in Malawi surprised representatives from International Planned Parenthood Federation’s affiliate when they rejected a presentation promoting contraception.
Thanks to HLI’s donors, these students had already received a different message—one of truth, dignity, and hope.
Through HLI Malawi’s chastity formation programs, young people are discovering that chastity is not a burden, but a path to freedom, authentic love, and respect for the gift of human life.
Right now, we are raising funds to train teachers who can continue sharing this life-giving message with students throughout the year.
Your gift helps reach the next generation before Planned Parenthood does.

Please keep Fr. Francesco Giordano in your prayers as he teaches a month-long course at St. Peter's College in Malaysia. Here, he joins the seminarians in celebrating the Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul.
This opportunity is a beautiful fruit of the relationships formed through the Asia-Pacific Conference on Life and Family (ASPAC), where collaboration in service of the Gospel continues to bear fruit across the region.
May Sts. Peter and Paul intercede for Fr. Giordano, the seminarians, and all those preparing to serve Christ and His Church.
At a 2022 HLI conference on marriage and the family, Emilian Samson Mahinya deepened his understanding of the family as a “community of persons” called to serve life, participate in society, and share in the mission of the Church.
The formation strengthened his preparation for priestly ministry, especially in helping families live out God’s plan amid today’s cultural challenges.
As he approaches ordination this summer, he carries forward a mission rooted in defending life and strengthening families.
If you'd like to support the formation of other seminarians like Emilian Mahinya, you can send your best gift here: hli.org/giving/
