The dream world for my game has concept art now

Hello folks! A little update: we're currently working towards a 5-10 minute demo that's shaping up nicely. We're going to try and post more regularly about gamedev and are grateful for everyone sticking with us!

Script 85% finished. Once it's done the entire project will fall into place; I will know every asset and animation I'll need for the game. I'm terrible with development updates I know, but am alive, and still going strong.

Still alive, still going, but missed the deadlines I set for myself. I'll be doing game dev semi full time next year to hopefully finish off the game sooner rather than later. Thanks for sticking out the silences, love you all. Nick

Funny when you become a scriptwriter you want to understand people that you wouldn't have otherwise tolerated, and that makes them more charming than they have a right to be. Flaws become beauty, because you learn how it grew from childhood wounds.

It actually is the most satisfying thing when you look at your art mirrored and you DON'T see frankenstein incarnate.

My favourite movie scenes are the ones where it feels like the camera shouldn't be there. Peoples private moments, emotional outbursts, criminal psychopathy, everything people don't tend to want us to see. Because it's those moments that reveal the human condition uninhibited.

Do you do that thing where you movies films when you want to be fancy and call films movies when you talk about fun movies 👁 🧐

It's scary to see games you followed for years tank even though you think they're great. What did they do wrong and how can you make sure you don't fail? In the end I remind myself the beauty of life is its mystery.. who knows what comes tomorrow? Nobody, and I'm fine with that.
