Having worked at Tesla Giga Berlin (2020–2023), I know that turning innovation into scalable manufacturing is the real challenge. Tesla's latest Roadster vision raises exactly that question. My perspective in this week's wikifolio review: wikifolio.com/de/de/p/future… #Tesla #TSLA #Manufacturing

This is where AI meets industrial reality: scale, factories, infrastructure and speed.
Replying to @elonmusk
Scale is exactly the point. From a factory planning perspective, the challenge is not only capacity – but how fast such an enormous industrial system can be designed, permitted, built and ramped up. AI is becoming a manufacturing and infrastructure story as much as a software story. This is one of the long-term trends I follow in my “Human Needs Future Trends” wikifolio: wikifolio.com/de/de/w/wf0001…

Heading to Shanghai and Suzhou in a few days for the 18th International Entrepreneur Week at Suzhou Industrial Park. Three continents of plant builds and production ramp-ups behind me. Still, the speed China builds industrial infrastructure at gets me every time. Curious what I find this time.

Happy Birthday Elon Musk. Love him or not — he changed what the industry thought was physically possible. Gigafactory Berlin. 22 months. Greenfield to production. I was there. Most people still don't believe me when I say it out loud. The automotive world is still catching up. #Tesla #Gigafactory #Automotive #Manufacturing

Built the Gigafactory Berlin in 22 months. Permit questions answered same day. Insurance sorted. Approvals under §8a — done. Not magic. Just clarity and speed. That's what's missing in German auto right now. 👊 🎙️ youtu.be/QBz3Be7W6mY

I've negotiated in Shanghai, managed teams in São Paulo, and advised boards in Germany. The one skill nobody teaches you? Reading the room — across cultures. It's not in any MBA program. You learn it by doing. What's the most important cross-cultural lesson you've had to learn the hard way? 👇 #Leadership #CrossCultural #Automotive #Germany

he European auto industry spent 30 years perfecting combustion. Now it needs to become a software company. Most OEMs are trying to do both simultaneously — and failing at both. I've seen this from the inside. The problem isn't technology. It's organizational DNA.

34 years. Mercedes-Benz. China. 3 continents. The companies that will survive this transition aren't the ones with the best engineers. They're the ones willing to change how decisions are made. That's rarer than you think.

Welcome! Orbital space centers and mass drivers on the Moon will be incredible.
I’m proud to be joining SpaceX and xAI with @milichab It has become clear that software is changing fundamentally. More and more, people can shape the tools they use directly, and the ceiling of what can be built keeps rising. What makes xAI special is the scale of its ambition: to build from first principles all the way out to the stars. I’m especially grateful to work on products that expand human agency and freedom. That mission is deeply personal to me. My family came to the United States fleeing communism, and the belief that freedom should be part of the next generation of the internet has driven me every day since Andrew and I started Skiff. Now, we get to work on intelligence, understanding, and freedom on a universal scale.
