October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. In order to show our support to those who have experienced or are experiencing domestic, dating, or relational violence and raise awareness, we and other organizations on and off campus will be hosting events throughout the month 💜

Today is #NativeWomensEqualPay Day, the day that marks the amount of extra time that Native women must work this year to catch up to what white, non-Hispanic men made last year alone. This wage gap is unacceptable – and it must end. 🎨: Ernesto Yerena

This Black Women’s Equal Pay Day, we must recognize a hard truth: it takes a Black woman nearly 20 months to earn what a white man makes in one year for the same exact work. It’s unconscionable. My Administration is committed to closing the gender pay gap once and for all.
