WOW! The NV Dept. of Wildlife has announced that 3 gray wolves could possibly be in the state - wolves haven't been documented in NV since 2016.
Any wolves in NV are protected under the federal ESA as an endangered species.

Earlier this year, a study using the Minnesota DNR’s own data confirmed that human-caused wolf mortality continued long after wolf hunts in the state ended. This highlights that legal killing of wolves leads to more illegal killing and that wolf hunts cannot be controlled.
