OUT WITH THE OLD .......IN WITH THE NEW This old Franco Belge was installed by us 11 years ago and had served the customer well. Today, on our recommendation, we upgraded it for the Clock Blithfield 5 @clockwoodburner #inceblundell A very happy customer!! @HowardsTarleton

OFF WITH THE OLD --------- ON WITH THE NEW Very impressed with the stainless steel powder coated bird guard/rain cap from @MidtecLtd The old cowl had been fitted to a solid fuel open fire, and was only designed for gas fires. #formby #chimneycowls

ONE FOR SORROW,TWO FOR JOY!!!! In 31 years of sweeping chimneys, yesterday was the very first time I have ever come across a Magpie in a chimney. Anyway, managed to rescue it from behind a gas fire. Blow me down, only had another one today, only this time it wasn't so lucky!!!!!

We were called out to investigate why birds were getting into the neighbouring property bedroom chimney, even though there was no pot fitted serving the bedroom to that property. @HowardsTarleton howardstarleton.co.uk youtu.be/uU6K_1mbX6c #longton #preston #chimneysweeps

Today's view from the rooftops. Fitted 3 square cowls to these chimneys to prevent bird and moisture ingress into the chimneys. Another top job by @HowardsTarleton howardstarleton.co.uk/2020/0… #chimneysweeps #parbold
