You don’t need to break the bank on flowers. Head to Trader Joe’s. Grab 2 different kinds of flowers. If you don’t know what matches find the closest looking lady to your mom at TJ’s and ask her. Wrap the 2 flowers into 1 bouquet with paper. Bonus Points you can cut open a TJ bag and use that as the paper. Step 11: Be a gentleman on the date. She isn’t there to hear your life story. Ask her about her. For every 1 question you answer, ask her 3. Open Doors, pay for the meal, be polite. Provided you follow most of this guideline you are highly likely to get yourself an opportunity for date number 2. You’ve been asking us why there are Flock cameras at Aurora Public School high school parking lots. Here’s an example from this week.➡️ Just before 4 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, officers responded to a reported carjacking. The victim’s son told officers that during the incident, the suspect allegedly displayed a handgun and threatened the victim before taking their Honda sedan. The vehicle’s information was immediately entered into our system as stolen. Fast‑forward to Wednesday morning. Just before 9:40 a.m. on September 30, a Flock camera at a nearby high school parking lot detected the stolen Honda. By the next alert, officers saw the offenders had tried to conceal the car by spray-painting it black. Just before noon, two of our SROs located the vehicle near East Mississippi Avenue and South Chambers Road. As additional units were responding to make a safe traffic stop, the Honda fled, ran a stop sign, and crashed into another vehicle. We didn’t even have a chance to turn on our emergency lights before they tried to flee. Four male juveniles — all students at the high school where the Flock hit occurred — were taken into custody. Thankfully the crash did not result in any injuries. The safety of our students here in Aurora is pivotal. We want to do all we can to ensure that we work with our community partners to make that a reality every day. In this case, and in others, the Flock cameras helped us prevent further victimization and close a case before any other potential injuries – or worse – occurred. We can’t put a price on that.
