Just finished a two week exercise with 168th Wisconsin Dustoff. Excellent clinical training with some brilliant medics. – at Grayling, MI
Why am I still in the Reserves? After a week including a Roll Fitness Test and three parachute jumps I have been under a little physical and mental pressure, but the impact on my mental health and wellbeing can’t be overestimated.

A great day of stakeholder engagement with @south_crisis Suzanne! Promoting referrals to their admission avoidance service. Visited 2 EDs, 5 ambulance stations speaking to clinicians on barriers faced when referring. We also had free pens 🖊️ which were very popular! 🚑

These tectonic shifts do not happen without allyship. This relies on foundational work that has been done by @brendanWAST and the team at @WelshAmbulance with @jasonkillens to build trust and good governance, with the profession & patients at the heart of their decisions. Bravo!
Today our Trust Board has approved changes to our senior clinical leadership that will see @AndySwinburnQAM become Executive Director of Paramedicine from Jan24 and us become the first UK ambulance service not to have a Medical Director leading our clinical strategy. #TeamWAST
