When I set out to write this book, I underestimated how long it would take to bring everything together even basic stuff like sizing the margins correctly for a print copy (have to do some thickness calculations for the cover and on-page paddings etc). But finally after months of back and forth and ordering multiple proof copies from Amazon, the book is now live on all Amazon stores. I bought one as a regular customer on Saturday and it was delivered today, just two days later 😊 .
If you want to start understanding what it takes to put a language model behind a production API, this book should give you the introduction and practical steps to get going.
I have updated the ebook as well, which I will link in the comments.
Now on to completing the AI safety technical book (quite GPU-constrained to run the 15 Jupyter notebooks for that one)!

.@AppleSupport @Apple really needs to be strict about mobile game ads. How many times does one have to press the X to close an ad and keep getting the App Store? Just did it 10 times! Such spam 😧
[Part 1]
For the past four days, I have been down with flu as you can probably tell from the video. In that time, I started an experiment to really get into the brains of AI agents and what they are capable of. I decided to put AI powered agents into this gaming world you see in the video and I have been stress testing them there.
I created a farm manager, an accountant, a farmhand and a neighbour liaison (others are just disabled for now). They need to sustainably run the farm together, making sure they have seeds to plant, animals are looked after, bills are paid, and neighbour requests are completed before their deadlines. I am the farm owner and they escalate critical issues to me when they need help or a decision e.g. hiring a new hand (human-in-the-loop).
There are different types of agents, ones with set tasks that the manager can reorder and ones that need to make decisions. I am using local Qwen models (served via Ollama) and LangGraph.
What I want to look into is how these agents coordinate, what they should remember and how do they choose this, how they plan ahead and handle tools like predictive models, how they adapt to a new game state e.g. when I introduce new farms, and when they should involve a human. Also, does every task really need an LLM, or can the platform handle routine work and bring the model in when something needs thinking through? What about different LLMs or decision models? How do those affect performance?
I have added logs and an owner console so I can see what they actually did and compare that with what they said they were going to do. I will put the rest of the video in the comments, where you can also see the 140+ tunable options I will be using to experiment with changes in their behaviour and document the results. This simulation will uncover thinking that can be used in any situation because in a real work environment, deployed AI agents range from ones with recurring tasks to ones that need to make decisions, the environment can change any time, there is a goal set for them and so on.
Still a bit more to build, but quite excited to get stuck into studying this properly. Same starting conditions, different configurations, repeated runs. What works, what fails, and why?
[Part 2]
It is not about just getting agents to run this simulated farm but the stress testing and experimentally probing the brains of AI agents and documenting the findings.
For the baseline experiment, I used LangGraph from @LangChain and Qwen3.5 4B from @Alibaba_Qwen .
What I love is Elon brought maga people to X away from just depending on Fox News and now without right wing bots, they can hopefully see the true state of the world.
This actually goes beyond politics. If you have ever boosted a product here on X, you know how you immediately gets likes and very robotic replies most just emphasising what you would have said in your promotion, adding very little to the discourse.
Now I wonder if advertisers are really getting a bang for their buck or it’s another case of borderline untruths / fraud with bot-inflated engagement numbers?
When we started responding to Russia’s operation against our data centers, and when our strikes reached Yandex’s data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations.
Because there were fewer bots. And it’s pretty clear where those bots were coming from – if they disappeared when Yandex went offline. This proves, again and again, that Europe is not the source of the problems. Europe is not the one making everything more difficult.
Most importantly, we need people in America, every morning, when the day in Europe is already moving toward evening, to really see what is happening. To see the truth.

Why is @ScuderiaFerrari such an incompetent F1 team? It’s mindbloggling how the Tifosi have put up with this winless team for this long. What do they celebrate at the end of a season? #F1 #SingaporeGP
Even Charles fans can’t support this Ferrari strategy. I’d want to see them try. #F1 #SingaporeGP
Ferrari is the worst team in F1. Two different strategies and you let your drivers affect each other. A driver who has been in the team and achieved pretty much nothing much is not out on the side to try other strategies. Two world champions achieved nothing in that team. Incredible.
We have lost 2 seconds! Charles needs to get out of the way.
#SingaporeGP 🇸🇬 | Charles Leclerc says team game will be important today:
“We’ll be looking ahead, obviously Lewis and I are starting close so it’ll be important to do a team game and hopefully take the victory today.”
“We’ll have to see obviously. We’ll do the start, see where we are and then if there’s anything to do, we’ll try and play that game to win.”
“If there’s nothing to do then we’ll just try to maximise [points].”
OpenAI needs a strong product person or maybe they hide stuff because of compute constraints. This is a cool product but people barely know about it.
Anyone tried chatgpt.com/maps?
