The outage was caused by kernel panic. The system automatically booted into a newer kernel version, which hopefully should prevent it in the future.

We got alerted by various systems being unavailable for 1 minute, mainly 4 nameservers, but along with external sources. No drop in traffic seems to have been experienced. At this moment the cause seems to be related to a fault in the monitoring system. We're investigating.

It's indeed confirmed to be a false positive triggered by the monitoring system. They're working on fixing it.

We had a temporary outage between nlcp03 and nlcp02 due to an automatic firewall rule triggered a block. This block was removed after roughly 5 minutes and an additional rule has been configured to prevent this for the time being.
