π€ CoHost now prepares actions for your approval. Ask it to message a guest, create a task or reply to a review, and it prepares a preview you can edit before approving. Nothing is sent until you approve it. It can also block dates for owner stays or maintenance, showing a confirmation card first, and it will never change booked nights. CoHost can now answer questions about owner statements, payments and open tasks, and pull answers from your AI Replies knowledge base.
βοΈ Automations got three updates. Choose which Airbnb cohost your messages send from, attach files like house manuals and check-in guides to automated emails, and edit a scheduled message for one guest without touching your master template.
The result: better consistency, fewer manual follow-ups and more control over your automated messages. Swipe through to see each one in action.
The best conversations don't happen on a call.
Our team spent the morning with local clients in Dubai. π Breakfast, a look at what's new in Hostaway, and time with the short-term rental teams we build for.
Huge thank you to @FirstClassDXB and to everyone who came.
Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!
Asking whether a tool has AI in 2026 is like asking whether a car has wheels.. the better question is which AI will actually help you run your business.
Our CTO Rick van der Plas has eight questions every STR property manager should ask before choosing an AI tool. Full breakdown on SCALE Wire.
A few of them:
β What problem are you actually solving? If you can't explain what it's trying to solve or the number it's trying to move in one sentence, look elsewhere.
β Does it understand vacation rentals, or is it a general-purpose tool?
β Is the intelligence built into your platform, or is it another tab to copy and paste between?
β Does it know when to hand a conversation to a real person?
The property managers who come out ahead won't be the ones with the flashiest tech. They'll be the ones who know their business and use AI as a superpower, not a crutch.

Adding 40 properties a month sounds like a good problem until you have to keep hundreds of calendars, guest conversations, and owner statements accurate at the same time.
That's where most STR property managers hit the wall. The system that felt right at 10 listings starts straining at 100, and growth turns into a migration nobody budgeted for, usually at the exact moment stopping to rebuild is least affordable.
Triad Vacation Rentals never hit that wall.
They were founded in 2021 on one promise to owners: one management fee, no tiers, no hidden add-ons. Keeping that promise nationwide meant every listing needed the same accuracy and the same response time whether it was their 10th listing or their 400th.
What made that possible:
π₯ A unified inbox pulling guest messages from every channel into one place, holding their under-five-minute response standard 24/7.
π· An open API that let them automate listing creation entirely, saving hundreds of manual hours a month on photo uploads alone.
π
One synced calendar covering OTA and direct bookings, so the team wasn't managing two sets of availability.
And critically, a platform that kept adding what they needed as they grew. Bigger plans along the way, but never a migration.
10 listings to over 400. Same system the entire way.
CEO Blake Holden's advice to anyone choosing a PMS early: "If you choose based on what fits 10 properties today instead of what could hold 400 later, you'll end up rebuilding your whole operation right when you can least afford to stop and do it."
