If you’ve chipped a tooth or two, great work!
You should also check out the new Christmas decorations for sale at @GreatWarHuts … 😬
I have 2 tickets to see the Cabinet of Dr Caligari with live music accompaniment at @WiltonMusicHall tonight. Sadly, I’m too poorly to go. I’d hate them to go to waste - free to anyone that would like to go!

This was a busy time for the GWH team.
@HorrorBiscuits was part of the DCMS team organising the Westminster Abbey service & designing these keepsakes!
Meanwhile, Taff worked on the UK #Somme100 commemorations, including the Abbey service & 1st July Manchester Heaton Park event.
Ten years ago tonight.
Foz Forsdike and I at Westminster Abbey for the Battle of the Somme Centenary, representing The Khaki Chums in recognition of 25 years of Remembrance and dedication by the Chums to British and Commonwealth veterans, 1900-1960.
Both of us wearing Khaki Chums/Old Chumrades Association ties and Suffolk Regiment Minden Roses - a tradition whenever the Monarch is present.
We were among the first eight people to take part in the overnight vigil at the tomb of the Unknown Warrior, alongside Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
A real honour and a privilege.

Replying to @HorrorBiscuits @Taff_Gillingham
Ridiculous and dangerously irresponsible post.
You know very well that this will tempt people to go visit.
How many more must die and be devoured by the evil beast?!!
IT KNOWS NO MERCY!!
The hunt for the Holy Grail took an unexpected turn when the legendary Beast of Caerbannog appeared, all teeth, fur, and murderous intent.
Luckily, there was a spare Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch available for just such an occasion.

Happy #NationalBiscuitDay to the battlefield biscuit - the only snack with the structural integrity of a paving slab.
These biccies had plenty of uses other than providing sustenance.

In Christchurch Park, among the 700 classic and historic vehicles, waiting for the start of the 54th Ipswich to Felixstowe Road Run in @HorrorBiscuits VW Golf Cabbie…
Ipswich to Felixstowe Run today! Vehicles leave Christchurch Park at 11:00 for the annual procession to the coast. Due to active roadworks, the convoy will follow the revised route shown in blue. Spectators should position themselves accordingly for safe viewing enroute. #Suffolk

We have no control over which takes the Director decides to use, and mistakes can slip through the net, but we do our best to make sure that we get everything set up to give the Costume Department the best possible chance of success on shoot days.

We provided a number of ‘Hospital Blue’ uniforms for convalescent soldiers, including a number of amputees.
The distinctive blue uniforms are quite a contrast to the drab khaki…

As you might imagine, a great deal of work goes into preparing the uniforms before they are sent to the studio for the fittings.
@HorrorBiscuits and @Taff_Gillingham made sure that everything was adjusted for the best possible fit…

Having @Taff_Gillingham stuck in a toilet on Boxing Day then having to be rescued by my brother wasn’t on my Christmas bingo card this year…
