Less than 24 hours away from H3 launching a Phobos sample return mission and a Phobos rover.
Easily one of the coolest missions of the year and it's barely getting talked about.
Moved into my dorms today! Definitely gonna need to get used to the entire campus being on a mountainside but at least it's good workout lol

The only use cases for this is scamming people and porn. There is not a single good thing this is useful for.
The whole point of building Tavus has been simple: talking to a machine should feel as natural as talking to a friend or coworker.
It’s hard to describe all the tiny nuances that make a conversation feel human. The little expressions. Moving around in your chair. Knowing when to speak and when to listen. The dance of it all.
Griffin is by far the closest anyone has come to a model that can capture those nuances. The first time I saw it being used, I had no idea I was watching our model rather than just a normal video call.
I’m so incredibly proud of this team and what they’ve built.
It's honestly a bit anticlimactic for how HUGE of a milestone this is. Getting Starship to orbit and deploying operational payloads is one of the most pivotal points in this program, this is right up there in importance with the booster/ship catch
Thank you to everyone who came to the Hololive fan meetup at Animatsuri 2026, it was a blast hanging out with everyone here!
Starting uni today but it's over zoom for the first two months... Just let me be on campus already 😭

For those interested in a spent booster impacting the lunar surface, this rare occurrence has decades of history, going back to the Apollo era, when NASA intentionally crashed spent stages into the Moon for science and seismic research. The reality is that meteoroids strike the lunar surface hourly, with impacts comparable to this upper stage occurring roughly every six days. The future lunar base will incorporate reusable spacecraft that not only deliver astronauts and payloads, but also become part of the infrastructure itself.
Crazy how I got hit with a once-in-a-decade blizzard AND a once-in-a-decade heatwave within the span of 5 months here. Certainly an interesting parting gift to receive from Mother Nature here in America but sure whatever
