ALT Hope Levy Sings Connie Converse! is now available on all streaming platforms with CD & vinyl coming to records stores soon! An intimate, imaginative tribute to one of folk music’s great hidden voices. With warmth, wit, and her signature vocal clarity, Hope Levy breathes new life into the poetic, quirky, and timeless songs of Connie Converse — the trailblazing songwriter who vanished in 1974, leaving behind a haunting musical legacy rediscovered decades later.

I would like to reiterate Ukraine’s commitment to peace.
None of us wants an endless war. Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer. Nobody wants peace more than Ukrainians. My team and I stand ready to work under President Trump’s strong leadership to get a peace that lasts.
We are ready to work fast to end the war, and the first stages could be the release of prisoners and truce in the sky — ban on missiles, long-ranged drones, bombs on energy and other civilian infrastructure — and truce in the sea immediately, if Russia will do the same. Then we want to move very fast through all next stages and to work with the US to agree a strong final deal.
We do really value how much America has done to help Ukraine maintain its sovereignty and independence. And we remember the moment when things changed when President Trump provided Ukraine with Javelins. We are grateful for this.
Our meeting in Washington, at the White House on Friday, did not go the way it was supposed to be. It is regrettable that it happened this way. It is time to make things right. We would like future cooperation and communication to be constructive.
Regarding the agreement on minerals and security, Ukraine is ready to sign it in any time and in any convenient format. We see this agreement as a step toward greater security and solid security guarantees, and I truly hope it will work effectively.

President Carter taught all of us what it means to live a life of grace, dignity, justice, and service. Michelle and I send our thoughts and prayers to the Carter family, and everyone who loved and learned from this remarkable man. barackobama.medium.com/our-s…
Uphold the Constitution AND Democracy 🙏 Women are amazing and sad we don’t honor them more….
Our nation’s democratic system functioned last night and we have a new President-elect. All Americans are bound, whether we like the outcome or not, to accept the results of our elections. We now have a special responsibility, as citizens of the greatest nation on earth, to do everything we can to support and defend our Constitution, preserve the rule of law, and ensure that our institutions hold over these coming four years. Citizens across this country, our courts, members of the press and those serving in our federal, state and local governments must now be the guardrails of democracy.

It took several days to count every ballot in 2020, and it’s very likely we won’t know the outcome tonight either. So please keep a few things in mind as you make your voice heard today:
– Thousands of election workers around the country are working hard today. Respect them. Thank them.
– Don’t share things before checking your sources.
– Let the process run its course. It takes time to count every ballot.

The press was obsessed with Hunter Biden. But barely a word about how Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump made 82 million dollars while working in the White House.
Thank you LA Times/Beverly Press for today’s plug in the paper! @latimes @BeverlyPress @prs_org @Connieconverseuniverse
Michelle! We need Michelle!!! She has true star power, brains and knows government. And Biden is a true hero as well. Michelle will bring us all together.
Thank you Liz for calling it out and for your bravery. Truth eventually sinks in. God Bless America and the believers in unity and democracy 🇺🇸
Mitch McConnell knows Trump provoked the violent attack on our Capitol and then “watched television happily” as his mob brutally beat police officers and hunted the Vice President. He knows Trump refused for hours to tell his mob to leave and “even then with police officers bleeding…he kept repeating his election lies and praising the criminals.” He knows Trump committed a “disgraceful dereliction of duty” and is a danger to our Republic. Trump and his collaborators will be defeated, and history will remember the shame of people like @LeaderMcConnell who enabled them.

Wow. Howard Stern said to President Biden this morning on air, “ I want to thank you for your compassion. We're lucky to have you in the Oval Office. I want to thank you for providing a calming influence and an organized administration post-COVID.” So well said.

Thank you for speaking the obvious. You are a true hero, Liz!!!
The GOP has chosen. They will nominate a man who attempted to overturn an election and seize power. We have eight months to save our republic & ensure Donald Trump is never anywhere near the Oval Office again. Join me in the fight for our nation’s freedom. greattask.com/

Been stressing about a dubbing job, and woke up to an AI video translating and altering lip sync of a person into tons of languages. Reminds me to be grateful for these struggles while I can still have them
