polymarket fud mostly coming from people treating polymarket US and polymarket Global like theyโre the same thing.
they arenโt
polymarket US regulated US product, operated through QCX LLC and regulated by the CFTC.
user experience also built much more like a normal financial app:
- account-based access
- phone/email onboarding
- a regulated us trading environment
polymarket global different story
thatโs the crypto-native side:
- wallets
- polygon
- onchain settlement
- smart-contract infrastructure
so when someone says:
โpolymarket us could ipo, therefore solana:6BKfv2FTxR4CbFaCSPd4pLJi2ijrGcUs7PYM1f76pump makes no senseโ
that jump doesnโt really work.
ipo would be about the US business. it doesnโt automatically decide what happens with the global crypto ecosystem.
and if polymarket wants to keep growing that global ecosystem, a native asset could have obvious uses around rewards, liquidity incentives, user alignment and ecosystem growth.
none of this means a Poly tge has been officially announced.
it means the US ipo and global token thesis are two separate questions.
different product.
different users.
different regulatory structure.
different infrastructure.
so iโm not fading this one for just because polymarket US exists.

I just submitted to recover my Jumper XP from my compromised wallet to my current wallet, and Iโm really thankful to Jumper for providing this feature.
More projects should offer options like this to protect users when a wallet gets compromised.
If you have any Jumper XP stuck on a compromised wallet, Iโd definitely recommend using the XP Recovery feature and transferring it to a new, secure wallet as soon as possible.

Congress normally has sole authority to approve spending.
Finally. ๐ฅ Great news for hardware wallet users.
Session Keys mean you can authorize a separate, time-limited signer to trade on behalf of your Polymarket Deposit Wallet without using your main wallet key for every routine trade ,and the session key cannot withdraw funds. Permissions can also be scoped, and keys currently expire after 180 days.
This should make trading with hardware wallets and third-party integrations way smoother.

Session keys are now in beta on the trading APIs.
A session key can trade on your deposit wallet behalf but can never withdraw - making third-party integrations dramatically better, and unlocking ability to build features that werenโt possible before.
A few builders are testing it now. Opening to every builder soon, with session key support coming to the Polymarket UI later.
