Elon Musk and StarLink have played an important part in Ukraine's successful resistance against Russia.
As a supporter of Ukraine I thank @elonmusk for that.

First. The narrative that diesel prices in America are heavily impacted by Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil refineries is completely fabricated.
Second. The sanctions waiver Trump just granted to Russia is using the fabricated narrative above to make it look like it's in America's national interest. It is not.
Third. It was planned, and the narrative was constructed to make it happen, which took time.
Fourth. This offers Russia's economy a necessary lifeline it desperately needs.
Fifth. this is happening during one of the largest Russian bombing campaigns targeting the civilian population of Ukraine, and right before winter, a season the Russians proudly and loudly plan to make the hardest and deadliest for Ukraine yet by bombing our civilian infrastructure and causing a humanitarian disaster.
This is well planned and played. A masterclass in betrayal, executed at the hardest possible time. I can almost feel a physical knife between my shoulder blades...
In the 22nd month of Biden's presidency the Dow was rebounding after Russia's invasion of Ukraine (if memory serves). The Dow's performance under Trump has been about the same as Biden's.
We did better under Obama.
Obama and Biden did not support Ukraine as strongly as we should have. But they were not outright Russian assets.
This is a beautiful presentation.
L1/L2 are gravitational waypoints into and out of cislunar space, the Moon gives up to 1 km/s of 'free dV' and cyclers can transfer resources into lower orbits.
The panel discussion was great. Here is a video I showed as part of my talk before-hand. Thank you Shane (@RossDynamicsLab ) for generating the video. It clearly explains how asteroid material brought to the Rim (SEL-1 or SEL-2 for example) can be distributed throughout Cislunar space.
Excellent vid. Learned a new term - "Warden Line"
One of my imagined ZRVTO linked tethers resides at the Warden Line. This tether throws payloads to an apogee corresponding to what they call the "MacLane Torus" where it can enter the Lunar Hill Sphere.
And I regard the Lunar Hill Sphere as a bay that opens our neighborhood to the solar system.
This is a fantastic video explaining orbital dynamics and the resulting economics, and security considerations of cislunar space. Well worth the 8.5 minutes to watch. youtu.be/kdpOdSMzXTA?is=By6z…

Consummatum est! Ten years in the planning and after over twenty years of reading and at least one year of writing, Galileo - History and Myth is complete.

Ukrainian latitudes lie between 44º and 53º.
Siberia is 50º to 77º latitude. It is very vulnerable to General Winter.
Ukraine has already demonstrated they can reach the Yamala-Nenets infrastructure. If Putin tries again to freeze Ukraine the retaliation will be devastating for the Russian people.
Putin needs to fall out of an upper story window sooner, not later.
Here I asked @grok to put a mass at the Mars Phobos L1 point and the tether extending 3.2 km past the MPL1 point. I believe this is the minimum tether needed to stay aloft and not fall back to Phobos.
This tether would allow ships to dock with the tether and descend to Phobos without kicking up the debris and dust clouds that rocket landings on Phobos would kick up.

And I have been blocked from this thread. I believe by @hookskat.
I provide citations backing up my claims.
These people are not merely incompetent. They are willfully trying to suppress information harmful to their narrative.
Replying to @HopDavid41 @hookskat
This is a lie. I'll allow you to correct the statement to something closer to the truth by removing the word "only" from your post.
Newton was a brilliant Christian crackpot who believed in alchemy and created calculus essentially on a dare. It doesn't have to be so binary.
Paul Warburg casually mentioned his time in seminary:

I was pleasantly surprised. Warburg's techno savvy and very pragmatic. I would not have thought he was a Baptist pastor.
I agree with the thrust of this video. Public perception is key. For example The War of Northern Agression vs The Emancipation of The Slaves.
I remain optimistic Ukraine will prevail.

How about calling on Putin to stop killing Ukrainian civilians
I seem to recall Elon making the correct prediction that the next conflicts would be drone wars.
Paul Warburg just did a video on China and possible robot soldiers:
youtube.com/watch?v=D7PuGzvv…
Warburg opines that human robots are mostly for show and that the more useful robots will bear no resemblance to humans.
I've heard similar arguments in science fiction forums. Although (in my opinion) humanoid robots may be more useful for general purpose uses than the robots designed for very specific tasks.

THIS ISN’T GETTING ENOUGH ATTENTION 🚨 During a heated Senate hearing, Mark Kelly pushed back after Tommy Tuberville said, "There's nobody more military up here than me” — respectfully, yet forcefully:
“Senator Tuberville, you just said, ‘There's nobody more military up here than me.’ As far as I can tell, there are four senators in this room that served in the US military. In some cases, for decades. Three of us combat veterans. You say it a lot. But you've never served. So I take great exception to you saying that.”
Sen. Kelly has the backbone Senate Republicans do not.
I can’t wait for him to be president someday.
I hope he wants that, too!

I served three combat tours with the U.S. Army.
I’m gravely concerned about the state of the Pentagon under Pete Hegseth.
The firings and resignations of qualified generals, officers, and civilians is alarming and hurting our military readiness.

By the way, remember this, kids:
- spending five years raining missiles down on Ukrainian apartment buildings,
- burying Ukrainian families alive beneath the rubble of their homes night after night,
- dropping bombs on theaters, railway stations, and supermarkets packed with people,
- plunging tens of millions into darkness and freezing cold during brutally cold winters,
- destroying dams on major rivers,
- filming snuff videos of beheadings, castrations, and the torture of POWs,
- burning POWs alive en masse inside a locked prison barracks,
- firing a missile straight into a children’s cancer hospital in central Kyiv,
- striking the radiation confinement structure at the Chornobyl nuclear plant with a drone and etc etc etc
None of all that, apparently, qualifies as “state terrorism.”
“State terrorism,” you see, is when, in response to all of the above, you destroy the aggressor state’s oil industry and issue advance warnings about the dangers of flying through the aggressor state’s airspace in order to avoid civilian casualties.
Make sure you don’t get the two confused!
