Fans of #Hoodening may well like this forthcoming book "An Annual Affair: Some Traditional British Calendar Customs", full of photos of rarer local events (we're included). Good support so far but still some weeks left to choose which 'reward' option you want.

Delighted that my Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for the new book has now gone live. Please take time to follow the link kickstarter.com/projects/hom… You may find it interesting. I hope so. Many thanks, Homer Sykes

Last 'event' at @MaidstoneMuseum's great "Animal #Guising and the Kentish #HoodenHorse" exhibition - James Frost giving a curator's tour, Geoff Doel talking about #MariLwyd and other horse traditions, and handbells from the Bedford Ensemble. 3 weeks until it closes!🐴
