Thinking about building a giant humanoid robot at ROBOTUO HQ haha.
A true super-humanoid hero
I first saw Neo1 at WRC 2026 and was genuinely impressed. The 4-meter, 1.2-ton humanoid from Beijing-based NeodraDynamics has returned at CIIF 2026.
Neo1 is built for 4D work-- heavy assembly, deep-sea operations, port and mine material handling, nuclear facility maintenance and fuel transfer, emergency rescue, and high-altitude construction...These are dangerous, dirty, high-intensity jobs it is designed to take on in place of people.
It uses a hydraulic-electric hybrid drive with 41 active DoF-- 39 hydraulically actuated joints and two electrically driven forearm rotations.
Each arm is rated for a 300 kg payload, with a combined two-arm payload of 500 kg. Its dexterous hands claim 500 kgf of grip force and 0.01 mm fingertip precision, while the arms have a 1.7-meter working radius.
Neo1 is also designed for extreme environments, with claimed operating temperatures from −50°C to 250°C and depths of up to 10,000 meters, alongside tolerance to radiation, dust and vibration.
NeodraDynamics is bringing Neo1 into JD Industrial’s supply chain and industrial sites to test how it performs in real-world applications.

🌋🇺🇸 Hawaii's Kīlauea volcano put on an absolutely INSANE show.
Towering fountains of molten lava shot more than 700 FEET into the sky, creating what looks like a giant pair of FIERY WINGS rising from the crater.
The eruption lasted nearly six hours, with rivers of glowing red lava and massive clouds of smoke filling the scene!

Check out the Unihertz Titan 2 Elite, and tell me this does not give you BlackBerry flashbacks.
There was a time when a BlackBerry was the most coveted device on the planet.
CEOs, celebrities, presidents, EVERYONE had one.
Then Steve Jobs walked onto a stage in 2007, and the rest is history 😂

THE ONE THEY UNWRAP IS NOT THE ONE THAT WORKS
THE WALKER IS RIGHT BEHIND HER
ok wait
expo floor
black dress
bare knees
plastic still on the face
he pulls it off
real skin texture and gentle temperament
hand on the shoulder
exclusive warm company only for you
white walker sitting in the back
she never stands
ngl most people stay on the peel
not the unit nobody filmed
▹ what the floor is selling
a face that takes a film
skin he can grade with one hand
a pose that photographs
the same kneel as every other unit on the stand
▹ the surprise
the quoted post already split this
labor sells a shift
this unit sells a face that stays
the walker behind her is the $16k clock
she is the presence product
soft layer about $1.5k to $4k
not the $50k to $150k gaze head
not the $125k to $175k social body
factories buy torque
timelines buy the film coming off
china already proved loneliness clears deposits faster than chores
▹ why the peel wins
presence without rejection
a face that stays
a line that says exclusive and warm
loyalty you can film
a body that never clocks in
and never has to
so the demo people stop for
is not the robot clearing a floor
it is the film
and the sentence that says only for you
the walker was in frame the whole time
nobody asked what it costs

ANTHROPIC AND AN MIT PROFESSOR HAVE DEVELOPED A $92,000 AI ROBOT DESIGNED TO TAKE ANIMAL CARE TO AN ENTIRELY NEW LEVEL. AND 6 ZOOS IN COLOMBIA ARE WAITING TO PUT IT TO THE TEST
This is not just another robot walking around a zoo. It is an AI powered animal care system designed to observe animals, analyze their condition, and help determine what they need to stay healthy. From vitamins and fresh meat to specialized feed, the robot is designed to recognize that different animals have different needs and that getting their care right can make all the difference. Instead of simply following a fixed routine, it can process new information, learn from experience, and improve its decisions over time.
Every animal interaction becomes another opportunity to learn. Every new observation adds to its understanding. The more information it gathers, the better it can potentially become at recognizing patterns, adapting to different animals, and supporting the people responsible for their care. And with 6 zoos reportedly preparing to host this robotic intern in Colombia, the experiment could take AI out of controlled environments and into one of the most unpredictable workplaces imaginable.
At $92,000, this is where Physical AI gets seriously interesting. A robot that can observe living creatures, adapt to changing conditions, and continuously improve could fundamentally change how animal care is managed. But the real test is not what it can do during a demonstration. It is whether it can perform reliably day after day, recognize when something is wrong, and make the right decisions when an animal cannot tell it what it needs.
THE FUTURE OF AI MAY NOT JUST BE ABOUT BUILDING ROBOTS THAT WORK FOR HUMANS. IT MAY BE ABOUT BUILDING ROBOTS THAT HELP US TAKE BETTER CARE OF OTHER LIVING CREATURES
CHINA IS BUILDING HUMANOID ROBOTS WHOSE SKIN STAYS WARM TO THE TOUCH. ONE SUCH MODEL IS PRICED AT ABOUT $173,000.
Engineers wrap mechanical bodies in silicone made to feel like human skin. The target is simple: when you touch it, it shouldn't feel like a machine. One model is designed to keep its surface at 32-36°C. It stands 1.65 m tall and weighs about 32 kg.
At an expo, a man peels the protective film off an arm, then presses two fingers into the forearm. The silicone dents and springs back.
Looks were the first problem. Touch is the second. Warmth is the third.
When a machine's skin feels like yours, what does a handshake with it mean?

THIS IS NOT A MOVIE ABOUT THE FUTURE.: THE RANKS OF AI ROBOT GIRLS ARE ALREADY BEING SHOWN AT EXHIBITIONS! 🤯🤖🔥
The footage shows a live demonstration of a new generation of androids. The front is a perfect human face, freckles, soft skin and a meaningful look. As soon as they turn around or take a step, the most complex black exoskeleton, wires and servos open.
What is most shocking:
• Wow effect in detail: They confidently shake hands with people at the exhibition, blink synchronously and move their heads so naturally that the brain refuses to perceive them as machines.
• Cost of ownership: Such mass-produced technological masterpieces cost in the range of $22,000 - $25,000, rapidly turning from laboratories into a real market.
Blurring boundaries: When hyper-realistic looks are combined with industrial mechanics, we get a major technological shift of the decade. The world has changed forever.
Write in the replays: WOULD YOU BUY YOURSELF SUCH AN ASSISTANT, or DOES IT LOOK TOO CREEPY?

He also open-sourced it and gave away 100 crabs for free to encourage fun remixes and more creative uses.

In a quiet little alley in China, a tofu vendor sits beside a little girl, reading to her under the light of his food stall.
The street is dim, the night is ordinary, and the world carries on around them.
Yet in that small pool of light, there is an entire world of tenderness.
No grand gestures. No extraordinary story.
Just an older man, a little girl, a book, and a moment of love that asks for nothing in return.
Sometimes, the warmest light in this world comes from the simplest corners of ordinary life—born of the gentleness shown by strangers.
And perhaps that is what makes life so beautiful. ❤️
