This will push up the cost of growing British food, hurting farmers and consumers.
I predict Burnham will then say rejoining the EU would solve the problem!
But remember… This is a tax imposed by the BRITISH GOVERNMENT. They are doing it to us.
Labour has CHOSEN to impose this tax and will use it as a reason to rejoin.

Here we can see demand for the past week and the forecast for the rest of today and tomorrow - this evening's peak is a touch below lunchtime (in BST the peak daily demand is at lunchtime - this typically flips to the evening once the clocks change)
The lunchtime peak was 36.5 GW and this evening is expected to be 36.4 GW around now. A typical mid-winter's day would be c45 GW

Il a connu Emmanuel Macron dans la commission Attali formée en 2007 dont il était membre et Macron rapporteur, c'est là qu'ils se sont liés d'amitié de sorte qu'une fois Macron propulsé associé-gérant chez Rothschild c'est naturellement ensemble qu'ils ont conclu le méga deal Nestlé-Pfizer qui selon les estimations a pu rapporter 6-8 millions € à Emmanuel Macron.
Ce type de rétribution des associés est habituellement versé dans un trust par la banque Rothschild, sur l'île de Man ou à Jersey.
Mais dans le cas Macron rien de tel n'est déclaré par l'intéressé
Il est probable que vu les liens forts de Brabeck et Macron et vu son entrée en politique en 2012, ce soit une approche très discrète qui ait prévalu. Un versement direct de Nestlé et non de Rothschild sur un trust sous prête-nom à l'île de Man semble le plus probable en 2013 et non 2012

They are either directly or indirectly responsible for tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths.
The health bureaucrats at the TGA who banned ivermectin, and those at AHPRA who persecute doctors, should be criminally charged with reckless negligence causing death and face lengthy jail sentences.
Allison Langdon should hand back her Logies and make a public apology to the families of those who died from COVID after being denied access to ivermectin. She should then interview Ralph Lorigo and take up the cause of medical freedom, to ensure this mass killing of sick people by incompetent and/or corrupt health bureaucrats can never happen again.
And those politicians who played politics over ivermectin — such as Chris Bowen, who described doctors’ claims that ivermectin was a successful treatment as “Conspiracy Craig’s medical disinformation campaign” — karma is coming for you in a big way.

No Fiona, I'm showing a paper written in 1981 for which James Hansen was lead author saying there was no evidence in the records of CO2 causing warming.
Then I'm supporting this observation with the observations of the Holocene which show the Earth warming 3 times and cooling 3 times with CO2 all but static in the atmosphere.
I'm also pointing out that 95% of the CO2 in the atmosphere is natural, and 5% comes from human activities that too is from from the scientific literature.
It is also true that in the area of the planet where that gets the maximum heat from the Sun water vapour is 100 times the CO2 in the atmosphere, and pointing out that the father of this science John Tyndall thought that the dominant GHG was water vapour - H2O - which, given the above observations supports his views - which is also in the scientific literature.
I'm passing no opinions that aren't supported by the observations. Of course, there are people who've spent the last 20 years writing papers trying to explain these observations away, but the facts are there in the observations it is plain crazy to pretend CO2 is a dominant GHG
