We are facing a very real threat to the existence of small scale cider makers & the orchards they tend & support. If you make cider or run an orchard group that does then you need to fill in this very short survey 👇🏻 to support the Duty Call for Evidence

Hard seltzers. They’re here. beveragedaily.com/Article/20…
Interesting piece on honesty and authenticity in vodka. Applicable to cider, with a little imagination... chuckcowdery.blogspot.com/20…

Name's on the door and the barrels are full. Now we just wait a few months while nature takes its course #scottishcider #cidery #cider #cidermill #cidermaking #ciderhouse
It has to be said that M&S’s range of ciders is the worst of any of the big supermarkets. But as it was the only shop I was in today and it’s Friday I bought two. Particularly interested in this single varietal Dabinett which has apparently been ‘expertly blended for M&S’.
Somehow found time to try an @oliverscider Perry as well. How many pints of cider is socially acceptable before a business dinner anyway? – at Edinburgh, Scotland
Think I might have over-cooked it. Having tried both Olivers options I thought it would be rude not to try the @RossCider option as well. Mind you, I showed some restraint by abstaining from the Rosie’s Pig, but I was still half baked by the time I left.
That rarest of things. A Scottish pub with a few decent ciders and perries. Nice work @Jolly_Judge. Currently enjoying a pint of @oliverscider Making Hay, the pleasure only minimally diminished by the fact it was served in a Cidersmiths glass.
Arran Brewery announces launch of 'ciders' for 2020 on a site at St Fillans in Perthshire. Not much detail at this point but the first batch will "after being blended with local Perthshire fruit provide dry, sweet and fruit ciders". Hmmm...
This is the second bottle I’ve had of this and it’s even better second time round. Herbally and lemony and sharp and just bloody lovely. @RossCider
An Aldi just opened up where I live. This was the best on offer. Made by “a cider maker from Herefordshire”. 6.8% and “100% pressed juice”. I’m curious... Wish me luck.
Hats off to Westons, whatever you think of their ciders, for a new initiative that turns its leftover pomace into CO2, removing 10,000 road miles a year from its supply chain. honestcider.blog/2019/11/06/…
I went to @GoodSpiritsCoWB for a single bottle of perry that @rodbodtoo had put aside for me and came back with a half dozen bottles along with it. Obviously. One of them was this delish Hors Norme from Cidrerie du Golfe. A bitter twist on the classic Brittany style.
Been suckered by @GoodSpiritsCoWB again! Every time I mention a good cider on Twitter they volunteer to stick a bottle aside for me. Knowing fine well I’ll come in and empty my piggy bank on another half dozen bottles while I’m there. 🤪 #marketinggenius I blame you @rodbodtoo

Andrew Merrick if you are out there, we've got ya!
All the Bs tonight as we load up on @RossCider’s Blakeney-Barland-Bartestree 2017-18 perry. Sunday nights don’t get much better than this… honestcider.blog/2019/10/27/…
Rare opportunity to taste the Albee Hill 2017 from @evescidery - and gee whizz is it good! Glorious vinous cider. Grab a bottle at @GoodSpiritsCoWB honestcider.blog/2019/10/22/…
