I fought the @SECGov on behalf of 75K #XRPHolders and warned the industry that the government’s overreach was not limited to #XRP & @Ripple. I was also amicus counsel in @LBRYcom and later in the @coinbase case.
I did all that legal work pro bono. In the Ripple case the judge cited my brief and the 4K affidavits I submitted declaring “XRP itself NOT a security.”
Then the SEC acted arbitrary and capricious and denied the #BTC ETF and many then saw that I was right. Then the SEC sued Coinbase, Kraken and the rest.
If you think I’ve done anything worthwhile, its a great time to donate. Only 29% of voters believe Ed Markey should be reelected.
Although Republicans are outnumbered 3-1 in MA, in public polling - I lead Markey among independents (called unenrolled voters in MA).
And 67% of voters are independents.

Ensuring that America’s community bank sector continues to thrive has been a constant focus of mine since day one. And the administration’s dual focus on enabling new digital technology to flourish and appropriately tailoring community bank regulation is key to both sectors driving U.S. economic growth together over the next several decades.
The final draft of the CLARITY Act furthers this mission. It gives the Secretary of the Treasury additional authority to act if the facts around deposit flight change to the detriment of community banks. If stablecoins cause harm to community banks, I will not hesitate to use these tools to ensure they remain fully protected. Community banks are essential to U.S. economic performance and Main Street growth. Economic security is national security, and community banks play a major role in this principle.

President Trump Has Legal Authority to CANCEL THE SENATE RECESS
The President has the Constitutional authority to call an “extraordinary session” of the Senate to vote on the SAVE AMERICA ACT and the CLARITY ACT.
This authority is found in Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution, which provides:
The President “may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses or either of them . . .”
In 1989, the Office of Legal Counsel of the Department of Justice issued a legal opinion confirming this point.
The Legal Opinion states: “The language and purpose of the Clause [Article. II, Sec. 3] make plain that the President may exercise this authority to convene the Senate during an intra-session break . . . We therefore conclude that the President has the power to CONVENE THE SENATE DURING THE PLANNED AUGUST RECESS.” [emphasis added]
Note: This formal Legal Opinion was issued 37 years ago—not dreamed up yesterday.
President Trump should exercise his authority to convene the Senate until such time as votes are taken on the Save America Act and the Clarity Act.
The President can’t force the Senate to pass these Acts, but he can make them stay in session until votes are taken.
The American people deserve to know where each Senator stands on these important matters BEFORE the November elections.
