Can someone help me regarding burning token supply? I sent 10M of solana:BwE8vpbfLD4JusJs7sxGMYCaE79fPRwwHMcyu9eqpump to 1nc1nerator11111111111111111111111111111111
And this was when the supply was 956M or 955M
However; supply is not showing as reduced on any sites.
I know there’s a quasi burn where you send it to a dead wallet and so it’s not available but it also hasn’t been truly burnt so the sites all show the supply as unchanged. I think that’s what happened here? But I also know there’s a way you can burn those “in limbo” tokens at a dead wallet.
Google instructions are clear as mud and I’ve already been burned by Google AI recommending a scam site 😂 to burn tokens
Could a crypto expert let me know:
- Instructions to burn those tokens I sent to the 1111Incinerator address, for real, so supply is shown as reduced on phantom, DexScreener, CMC, etc
- Is there an easier way to burn tokens? Permanently?
I have been trying to use SolIncinerator but it is not identifying the tokens I want to burn when I try using their platform and hook it into my wallet
Any help the crypto experts can provide would be much appreciated!
