Holden Police Department

Even though it's almost spring, our #25daysofkindness+ rolls on! Today we made a $500.00 donation to former @Patriots player @Andruzzi63's foundation, @joeandruzzifndn, in support of @stjoeshealing physician Dr. John Patten and his sister, Naomi! They'll soon be in a 🏃‍♂️🏃🏃‍♀️!!

We're happy to report that we just made a $500.00 donation to the @dempsey_center using remaining #25DaysOfKindness+ funds! And since next month is our 20th anniversary as a police department, we're also hoping @Lewiston_Maine native @PatrickDempsey might even pay us a visit! 🤞

Utilizing remaining #25daysofkindness+ money, we today made a $275.00 donation to the Lint Rollers & Lemonade, Lady Sienna Pickleball Classic, taking place at the Armstrong Tennis Center in the town of @hampdenmaine next week! We're happy to help this great cause! 👍🙏🫶

Hey! Our friend @ajgreer_10 from the @NHLBruins came through with an autograph for our police lobby! Thank you so much, young man! We'll continue to watch your @NHL career and will add you to our wall of NHL players and draft picks who've visited or sent us photos!

Hope everyone's day is wonderful! 😀 #justspreadingsomelove ❤️

This April marks our 20th anniversary as a police department! It's been an amazing two decades; and we are excited to continue to serve, protect, assist and be there for the wonderful residents, businesses, schools, churches and visitors within the @Town_of_Holden! #grateful 🫶🚔

One of the two vehicles involved in a serious crash this morning. Amazingly, neither driver was injured. (The other car had similar damage.) Please drive safe, stay off your phone, don't drink and drive, and wear your seatbelt. #wejustwantyoutobesafe

One of the funnest things we've been involved in so far this year! Thank you to the wonderful folks at the Brewer Community School, @ASinclairWABI and @BrittanyWABI! 🫶👍 #25DaysofKindness+

Officer Tyler Beal's first time ever driving a police car! (And a big thank you to Officers Phil Boyd and @RodneyfnGerald for helping "F.T.O." him!) 👍👮‍♂️

A former @USMC Marine; a current @usairforce Maine Air Guard member; and, our newest hire! @RodneyfnGerald is a veteran police officer and Hunter Christian our first @Town_of_Holden Police Dept., police academy graduate. They are both involved in helping train Off. Tyler Beal. 👍

Thanks to remaining #25daysofkindness+ funds, we were just able to make a $200.00 donation to two young skiers soon to be raising money at @SugarloafMaine at the Winter Kids Downhill 24! Best of luck to Zoe and Brady! @WinterKids @WinterKidscom 🎿⛷️

In honor of #BlackHistoryMonth, we're initiating our first-ever "Change for a Cause!" We're challenging @Town_of_Holden residents to drop off their change at Holden PD. For every dollar donated, we'll match it (up to $500) and donate ALL the proceeds to the @MaineNAACP @NAACP.

Hey! Do YOU live in the @Town_of_Holden? 'Cause if so, TOMORROW the 7th is our first-ever "Trash Tag Tuesday!" Merely stop in during the day on February 7th, and we'll give the first 100 residents who do so a FREE trash tag (and a couple of other goodies 😉). #25daysofkindness+

Thank you so much, Tracey! WE appreciate YOU! 🫶👊👍

Due to the extreme cold, we're currently checking-in on some of our elderly, shut-ins, disabled residents, and others here in the @Town_of_Holden. If YOU live here and need some assistance, please feel free to call us at 843-5442, so one of our officers can assist you. 🥶👮‍♂️👮

And today we started handing out $5.00 gift cards from @McDonalds to random drivers as a friendly reminder to do so! 😇 #wejustwantyoutobesafe

Thanks to @CasellaWaste, our #25DaysOfKindness+ will roll right into February! Pictured here is Lt.@Ed_Benjamin79 from Holden PD, in addition to @Town_of_Holden Town Manager @BenjaminBreadm1 (along with Casella employees), receiving a check for $1000.00. #RecycleKindness 🫶👏👍

Why, yes! We are @Q1065Bangor fans! (Not to mention the #PineTreeCamp.) So, using some of our remaining #25daysofkindness money, we made a $100.00 donation to them this morning. 😉 #greatcause @DysartsComeEat
