I’m writing to you now from Gaza… so please, read my words carefully.
To the world that has abandoned us
You left us to be killed, to cry ourselves to sleep each night in pain, hunger, fear, and sorrow
We don’t ask for much, just a word of truth, a voice that refuses to stay silent in the face of our suffering
I cry every day
When I see my children cry
When I lose another friend or relative
When I hear a child screaming from hunger and no one comes to help
We are human beings, not numbers, not headlines
We've tasted more pain than any heart should bear
Isn’t it time for this nightmare to end?
Help us
We have no strength left
We've endured more than enough😭😭

“After the 🇮🇱 military raided the hospital people were blindfolded and undressed, patients on crutches were put on the ground as Israeli soldiers took celebratory pictures with healthcare workers in humiliating positions. The hospital was burned down and Dr. Abu Safiya was taken… We are pleading to the world, to the people and states that make up this very body, to show us that international humanitarian law matters, that human rights are universally applied, and to stay true to the very reason that this body was created”
