A Pokémon sprite collection you can download in full for your app
The repository hosts sprite images separately to reduce load on PokéAPI. You can download the entire collection, with assets organized into subfolders.
Default Pokémon sprites are PNGs with back, female and shiny variants, including combinations of those variants.
Dream World assets are SVGs, official artwork is PNGs, and Showdown assets are animated GIFs.
The Showdown battle animations were designed by the Smogon community.
