It's not the most glamorous of content but in my opinion, students can't gain a solid understanding of globalisation (or related consumerism / environmental impacts) without being explicitly taught about containerisation. Luckily, there are lots of good resources! 🚢🌍 (1/2)

Great to be back with @HodderEd11to19 today presenting on middle leadership in geography. An absolute favourite topic to present on mainly because there just isn’t that much CPD out there! Fantastic engagement from the group made for a wonderful day 🤩

Proof-reading the September issue & am proud that the @HodderMagazines Wideworld will now use country names as recognised by the UN- something that was important to @MMinton10, Jane & I 🌎🇹🇷 🇻🇳
PS: this issue may be our best yet 😍

One of my proudest achievements to date is writing the Geography textbooks used in schools. Being able to write and co-write these with my Dad (also a Geography teacher) was a very special opportunity. #geography #geographyteacher #scottisheducation #NationalGeography – at Killearn, Scotland

Bought myself a subscription to WideWorld @HodderMagazines after talking w/ @kate_stockings during our @GA_ISIG meeting. Am now regularly using articles to stretch and challenge my outstandingly brilliant Y10s. I find it mindboggling the info they retain from these fab resources – at North East, England
