When I need to call out a plumber I’m grateful to pay £40/h because I don’t have the first clue how to fix my boiler, or the skills to fix a burst pipe
Doctors are asking for half of that, to fix your kids
In life we get the health services we pay for

“Of course we are, we’ve tried multiple times”
@RishiSunak falsely claiming to have tried to negotiate with us when in reality we've now asked in 10 separate letters to meet with Govt to discuss pay and every request has been rebuffed.

It’s really very easy to understand how our training pathway works if you bother to actually research it, which you would expect someone going on TV to give an explanation about it would do.
But no. Here we are again.

I don’t normally do political tweets but today I’ll make an exception. Healthcare workers have been the wait target for the government for too long. I fully support the junior doctors walking out and will do what I can to support them

Precisely this. There is a study that even looks in to costs of training. It is old now so costs are even higher. Up to £45K for a surgical trainee in mandatory costs for progression. That's more than a year's net salary!
