Hlas column: The journey really does matter more than the destination, and the people are more important than the scoreboard. A personal story as the final football game I cover at Kinnick Stadium for the Gazette nears. thegazette.com/sports/my-fir…

If your students aren't burning couches after big wins, shut down your football program.

Colorado players talking trash about Northwestern’s temporary stadium ahead of this evening’s game:
“This place f*cking sucks”
“Sh*t sounds like a f*cking library.”
Thanks much to Iowa associate AD Matt Weitzel (@BigWeitz) for putting this together with thoughtfulness and making it very nice. I'm not a Hawkeye or a member of any other fan base in college sports, but I like good people and can name many of them at Iowa.
How many times have you wished you could act like this at your workplace?
How long would it have been before they cleaned out your desk and had your key card to the office disabled?

First LSU fan spotted in the Grove is wearing the ankle monitor 😂 can’t make this up. Respect to LSU sending their best👏
I worked with Sam for many years. The man deeply cares and does good work. He and I hope to work together again one day. Our current plan is for him to run the operation and for me to park the cars.

Tim Graham’s piece on tonight’s game gets at something real: whatever the business reasons behind it, hearing O Canada in our new stadium is a reminder of a shared culture, identity, and geography that no trade war can erase. Western New York has always been stronger with our Canadian neighbors standing beside us, and it always will be.
Go Bills! 🇺🇸🦬🇨🇦

No, he doesn't. Like so many others, he's grifting on the feeble-minded as he helps the sewage continue to rise.
This poor, misguided creature.
We talked about this on @3ManFront — beyond bizarre for the Bills to play “O Canada” before their season opener. It's the first time the Bills honored both the US and Canada. Maybe they should’ve just built their new stadium in Toronto with Canadian taxpayers’ money. 🇺🇸
