For those infamous gut side effects, the profile of them was similar to other studies: not actually *that* common, and it was fleeting, with the incidence falling over time as people got used to the drugs.
Managing this (as I've written) lowers issue counts/severity further.

"If you're taking Retatrutide, you need to get your blood work done."
"Your RHR will go up "
" You need to know and track your BMI "
"It will make you go blind."
(You know what, I've been hearing that one since puberty set in.)
I do not care.
I. Do. Not. Care.
At all.
I'm taking Reta to be FREE.
I have been on strict-ish diets for so long.
Meat & Cheese.
before we called it Atkins.
Blood Type Diet.
who here can say they've read Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type?
I have.
Intermittent Fasting.
got to watch that clock.
All Natural.
" eat something grown on a plant, not made in a plant."
I have driven my wife CRAZY.
She hasn't cooked for me in YEARS.
Not because she doesn't care, because I was always on some diet that her and 4 kids were not on.
I have paid attention to food this and food that for literally decades of my life.
And now... there's Reta.
I can eat carbs.
toasted bread really does taste good if you do it right.
I can eat pasta.
god, I love a good mac & cheese.
I can eat McDonalds.
I can literally go to McDonald's 2-3 times a week and get a McDouble, or two, and some fries.
And still lose weight.
And still feel the best I have felt in years.
I am finally FREE.
To not think about food.
I am NOT tieing myself up with more requirements.
I am NOT going to chase a weight goal or a lab result.
I am NOT going to track anything.
Except how my clothes fit and how I feel.
I am going to enjoy my life and enjoy nerding out on peptides.
Those of you that want to track that stuff and know the numbers
I support you 100%.
I am thankful that you have that goal and that ambition.
You are the data that we need.
I will be the first one to stand up and cheer you on.
From the sideline.
While eating a hot dog and drinking a large Dr Pepper
You do you. I'm rolling this way.

Top 5 peptides based on actual science, not soccer mom anecdotes:
⑤ BPC-157
Seen people with years-old chronic injuries fully recover out of the blue. One of the best “healing drugs” ever synthesized. Derived from your body’s gastric juices. Studied in Croatia for ulcerative cholitis/inflammatory bowel disease. No toxicity established.
Described as “providing endothelium protection and angiogenic effect, even in severely impaired conditions.” First peptide I recommend to middle aged folks with chronic pain. Absurd doses given to animals with no toxicity. There’s a reason it’s called “Body Protective Compound”
④ GB-115
Very few anxiety medications work without causing irreparable neurotoxicity, abuse liability, withdrawals, and many other issues. GB-115, a Russian peptide, is far different. Safe, well-tolerated, non-toxic, and pro-cognitive. Exerts anxiolytic effects by targeting CCK-1.
GB-115 increases processing speed and improves different aspects of attention (attentional resource allocation, attention span and switching.) These cognitive targets are directly impaired by anxiety.
Etifoxine mogs but worth mentioning
③ Insulin
Wait wait wait, calm down. I’m referring to administering insulin intranasally (up your nose.)
Intranasal insulin does NOT lower your blood glucose. Well, unless you take an absurd dosage of it (upward of 600iu, which is an actual challenge to spray up your nose.)
The benefits go hard as fuck like:
✧ Absurdly potent neuroprotection
✧ Increased synaptic plasticity and learning parameters
✧ Improved word recall
✧ Reduced anger and mood enhancement
✧ Improved functional connectivity of the hippocampus
✧ Reduced cognitive decline in countless models
This short list doesn’t even cover 1% of its benefits. Intranasal insulin is criminally underrated
② SS-31
The best mitochondrial enhancer, which is in turn the best target for longevity and performance. SS-31 increases the cristae formation in the inner mitochondrial membrane allowing more redox reactions to take place. More surface area = more ATP synthesis and energetic potential. More ATP = less fatigue.
Attenuates oxidative stress, rescues diseased tissue, ameliorates cellular damage at the SOURCE. Truly a miracle compound. Forget MOTS-C; just run SS-31 for life.
① Retatrutide
You knew it was leading up to this…
Nothing will ever move the needle to enhance one’s life more than the case of an obese individual getting in shape.
Point blank, some fat people can never, or will never, lose the weight. Whether it’s mental, physiological, or spiritual, they will eat themselves to death. GLP-1s are life saving medications. We’ve had enough of hearing the “just have discipline and put down the fork” platitudes.
Retatrutide outperforms every other weight loss agent by a mile and then some. It saved my life. It’ll save many others.
Hope you enjoyed the list. Most other peptides are cope. Save your money and use what actually works.

Plus you don’t want to end up in some situation with a woman where you need cash to do something, tip someone, pay for a taxi, whatever, and she has to pull out cash because you don’t have any. You’ve instantly feminized yourself.

Autists tend to have a lot of jaw issues, especially TMJ. Modern orthodontics will say teeth grinding have a deeper cause than mere habit. Took a sleep study and was waking something like 100 times an hour.

Why would I go for 15mg of Reta?
This question caught my attention.
Because I currently plan to run a low dose of Reta for the foreseeable future.
Possibly, for the rest of my life.
Or, until something better comes along.
Why would I NOT take low dose Retatrutide, indefinitely?
Appetite: down
Weight: down
Waistline: down
Alcohol intake: down
Cravings: obliterated
Energy: up
Focus: up
Self confidence: up
Compliments: up
Fun Factor: through the roof
I'm not even listing labs on BP, a1c or triglycerides.
Because I haven't been to the Doctor. But we know those are / will improve.
All at 1.5mg weekly dose of Reta?
What is the downside?
Seriously, WHERE is the downside???
It's not side effects. Not at 1.5 mg weekly. Not for me.
It's not cost. Not once you get your bearings in this space.
I'm essentially paying a drug co-pay per month.
Ok, I don't actually like needles. Small downside. But I can man-up over that.
At 1.5 mg weekly, a 15 mg vial of Reta is about perfect.
10 weeks.
That's about how long we're truly comfortable keeping reconstituted Reta in the fridge.
Correct?
Be honest. We don't believe in the 28 day limit.
But we believe there IS a limit that prudence dictates. Somewhere in the 2-3 month range.
I'll take ALL the Reta15 vials.
And I'll grin all the way to the freezer.
(btw, I think the original question was a legit question)

Protein needs can change with age, especially when the goal is preserving muscle. Explore peptide science and community conversations: discord.gg/hYvMVcXvf through a legitimate vendor
If you're over 50 and eating the "recommended" amount of protein, you are slowly losing muscle.
The RDA (recommended daily allowance; 0.8 g/kg body weight) wasn't designed to protect muscle specifically, and when older adults eat exactly that amount, the body will likely be steadily losing protein from muscle.
I'd treat the RDA as the bare minimum. Ideally, double it.

Are you running BPC-157 even when you’re NOT injured?
That’s one of the biggest questions I have when people tell me they’re using BPC-157 continuously.
BPC-157 has become incredibly popular in the peptide world, particularly for its potential role in recovery involving tendons, ligaments, muscle tissue, angiogenesis and inflammatory signaling.
But instead of asking, “What can I take every day in case I get injured?” I think the better question is:
What can I do every day to make my body more resilient and reduce my risk of injury?
For me, the foundation starts with:
🥩 A whole-food diet with adequate protein and micronutrients
🥔 Enough carbohydrates to support training and recovery
🥑 Quality dietary fats
🏋️ Progressive strength training
🦴 Building stronger muscles, tendons and connective tissue
🤸 Mobility and controlled ranges of motion
📈 Avoiding sudden increases in training volume or intensity
😴 Prioritizing recovery
When an actual injury occurs, that’s when compounds such as BPC-157 and TB-500 become a different conversation.
My own N=1 experiences using these compounds during injury recovery have been significant too.
The takeaway:
Build the foundation first. Then evaluate the tools when they’re actually necessary.

Janoschick isn't the only lab that can test your peptides, and it's probably the most expensive one out there. If you're US based, paying premium shipping and waiting weeks to send vials overseas doesn't make much sense when other options exist.
Vanguard is one lab I've used, and ACS and Prodigy are two more worth checking for quality and consistency. If you're new to testing, send a vial of the same peptide to each one and compare the results yourself before deciding who you trust long term.

FDA CRACKS DOWN ON COMPOUNDED GLP-1s
The FDA is warning telehealth firms and compounders over unapproved weight-loss drugs including semaglutide, tirzepatide and retatrutide. $HIMS
The agency says retatrutide and cagrilintide cannot legally be used in compounding, and has already warned companies marketing unapproved retatrutide directly to consumers.
As of May 31, the FDA had received 990 adverse-event reports tied to compounded semaglutide and more than 730 tied to compounded tirzepatide.
The FDA is also flagging dosing errors, fraudulent labels, improper refrigeration during shipping and questionable foreign-made ingredients, while reiterating that compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved or reviewed for safety, effectiveness or quality before being marketed.
