Really good high intent session at @Hitforth this week. Out of 98 measured swings, I hit 53 over 90 mph and 14 over 95 mph. Set new max EV PRs at 97.8 and highest avg. session EV at 88.7 mph. Really working on fast hips and hands, but was able to still barrel a lot of baseballs (50% LD rate). Thanks @Aidan_Johnson29 for working with me. #Uncommitted #Uncommitted2027 #2027SS @jeffhalstead @Morioka_UPS @mattriebs9 @RobbyFaris23 @Coach_Ray18 @CoachSwick @ChapBaseball5 @LambornGarrett @tadskelley @mrubayo25

Hitting rockets out to RCF? Looks like time spent at @Hitforth is paying off for Sanchez.
Andrew Sanchez ‘25 | Leander Rouse Sanchez was 3-4 with 2 RBI’s today including this bomb over the right center field wall. ⁦@NavarroBasebal1⁩ commit @andrew_sanchez9

Really fun episode for those into strength and conditioning in the baseball world. Former pro ball strength coach Andrew Chappell from @Hitforth joined us to talk about a host of topics in that space.

Mack Galindo (‘27 TX) finds a way to get the barrel on this one and walks it off with a base hit to RF. @Texas_PG #14uWWBA

We don’t want to trash what they believe in to promote change. It allows us to work with any hitter instead of only being able to work with hitters who swing with this specific idea or or are willing to align with our intent.

Should every hitter know how to bunt, sure, the more tools in the belt the better but young hitters need to focus on learning to drive the ball consistently. Kids that can’t hit liners to the outfield leave the game in droves when they move to the big field.

We want efficiency of movement for rapid force production. The swing happens quickly & even trained eyes miss some things. We look at the data from KVEST so we can be more confident in our plan of action with each hitter. 2/2
