Going to replace whatever it is that educators get taught in teacher school with in-depth study of Daisy-Head Mayzie, Where the Wild Things Grow, and Frog and Toad.
Lol this is too funny.
How about you just let the person vibe with their thoughts in their corner. I would be so annoyed if I was just flourishing unbothered in my lane and an increasingly snappish woman kept disturbing me to "check on me"
I dislike introverts who need to be told everything multiple times when in a group setting. You have to keep offering them food, try hard to engage them and check on them to ensure they are ok. They will just sit quietly in a corner and you will never know if they are ok or not, or if they are upset or need care. I hate doing that labour for them.
Like dude you can talk, you are normal! You are an adult, not a child. Please emote, talk and let others know what you want or don't want. Be a part of what's going on and don't kill the vibe by just disconnecting with who's around you.
Sincerely, an extrovert who always puts that effort.

This is what I find annoying about the removal of a multi-axial diagnostic model in mental health treatment. It is unfortunate how many therapists trained after 2013 are unable to model the nuances of IQ and personality across different mental states and modes.
Seeing how so many educators are simply unable to model the nuances of high IQ children's variability across different states and modes is truly blackpilling.
Listen lady, the only thing you're teaching that child is "how to develop an anxiety disorder."

Not beating the allegations
Just discovered a most interesting website telling me what Wikipedia pages a country's people read the most the day before:
- Kazakhstan: Intercession of the Theotokos
- Mongolia: Genghis Khan (lol)
- USA and Australia: Katie Zacharia (no surprises)
- Tuvalu: Toast sandwich
- Kiribati: Tear down this wall! (Ronald Raegan cold war spech)

It's beyond me why "two adults who realized they drifted apart from each other" can't just stay together as roommates and keep their family together.
My wife and I decided to get a divorce.
There were no fights, just two adults who realised they drifted apart from each other.
This is probably the hardest thing I had to go through.
First of all, telling our girls...seeing them so sad was heartbreaking. But we are still a team as parents and will do everything for them!
Also we have to sell our house, the house I wanted to live in forever and raise my kids in...
Going back to a smaller appartment will be rough.
I still have a lot of to handle, that's why I wasn't active here on X.
I'm really grateful for all the people who reached out and asked where I was ππΌ
This women will always be a part of my life, she gifted me with two perfect daughters.
I wish her all the best, great memories were made in those years!
I'll be back soon. Thank you everyone ππΌ
When Britain's Jewish population vanishes they will learn what they've gained by swapping their Jews for Muslims.
There are some countries in Europe that have hope and others that don't. If not for my historical sense of "don't bet against England" I'd say they don't.
There was a situation at my daughterβs school last week which left her in tears. I went in to the school the day after to let them know we were removing her with immediate effect. The head teacher tried to explain but I had no interest in her excuses or reasons.
The school had a play and an open evening for next yearβs new pupils, and my daughterβs class were asked to take the potential new pupils and their parents for a tour of the school and classes.
My daughter is the most softly spoken, polite and friendly child youβd probably ever meet. Sheβs one of just 40 Jewish pupils at the school out of over a thousand children. My wife wanted her to go to a non Jewish school because she felt concerned about the security threats at Jewish schools, and I donβt have much say in the matter as Iβm just the dad. Our youngest goes to a Jewish school and the security simply isnβt anywhere good enough. This would be both their last year at school in this country because weβd already made the decision to leave the country before their next school year.
My oldest wears a tiny discreet Star of David pendant. Itβs so inoffensive to anybody but allows her to express her Jewish faith in a small way.
When it was her turn in line to greet the family she would show around, the family was a Muslim family. My daughter has no personal issue with anybody and is friendly with two Muslim girls in her class who arenβt bothered by her being Jewish. But this family clearly were. In front of everyone, the father refused to be shown around by βa Jewβ. He apparently, according to several parents and a teacher, raised his voice at her, and demanded that another child show them around. Instead of the head teacher condemning his behavior and telling him to leave, she asked my daughter to step aside and asked another pupil to show them around. Nobody except other parents, non Jewish parents, came to my daughter to ask if she was even ok. She was in a flood of tears, frightened and confused.
My wife got a phone call from another parent and insisted she would go fetch our daughter because she already knew what I would do had I gone there myself. But this is what we live in now. This is the new normal.
For reasons of what will come next, I wonβt name the school. But this is going to escalate, a lot.
One thing that never fails to surprise me is dealing with educators with over twenty years of experience who still don't understand the first thing about kids.
Like, even if you're not engaged or that invested or whatever, shouldn't you have picked something up in all that time?
Was literally just reading today Jung's thoughts on Gauss in Psychological Types. He connects Gauss's infamous aversion to publishing and teaching (he used to tell prospective students that his courses probably weren't happening in the hope they'd leave) to strong introversion.
Replying to @Giuliano_Mana
I donβt understand why these geniuses often donβt make it more of a priority to publish their ideas. Gauss was the same way. IIRC ppl later found his private documents that could have pushed math forward tremendously and he just didnβt bother
