HAAF, the fifth emergency service, headed out to recover Spitfire LZ842 after it got stuck in a rut while taxiing the day before Wallop Wheels and Wings. It was pushed to Delta, refueled, and then moved into Hangar 3 for the night.
Friday the 10th is setup day for Wallop Wheels and Wings the Army Flying Museums prestige event. Last to move was the mighty DHC2 Beaver.
Warm day at Wallop Wheels and Wings. Plenty of interest in our aircraft. Reuniting old pilots with their aircraft.

Yesterday, we celebrated the incredible spirit, history, and innovation of Canada—and what better way to do that than by looking up at the skies?
We are incredibly proud to have not one, but two legends of in our fleet: the DHC-1 Chipmunk and the DHC-2 Beaver.
We recently hosted members of Overton Photographic Club who spent a busy morning learning about the history of the AAC and managed to capture a pair of Juno's from RAF Shawbury as a bonus.
