Nice example of the (potential) influence of e-history. False fact is inserted into wikipedia. Wikipedia is used to write books. Books are used to prove false fact, including on wikipedia @JasonSteinhauer
Five years ago, an anonymous Wikipedian made their sole contribution: the claim that Emperor Henry II was also known as St Henry “the Exuberant”. This can now be found in at least 6 books, including three by academics and one by a monk. google.com/search?q=%22henry… #medievalTwitter

Last week in Latvia, the Museum of Occupation was flagrantly and deliberately attacked with a Molotov Cocktail. We at the HCI strongly condemn this attack against the museum, whose staff are part of our HCI global network.
The Museum of Occupation shares honest and accurate history of Nazi occupation during WWII, and of Soviet occupation during the postwar era. It is an important institution doing critical public history work in the Baltics.
We urge all #twitterstorians to show support for the Museum of Occupation during this difficult time. Please follow the museum on Facebook, Twitter/X, and Instagram and express your solidarity with them: @okupacijas_muz
