#WATCH | Rajpura, Punjab | Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of the Ambala Division, Dr Vinod Bhatia says, "The train was travelling from Amritsar towards New Jalpaiguri. It was an unreserved train consisting of 22 coaches. Around 13:00–13:15, our control room received information that a fire had broken out on the train. We immediately cut off the power supply to the OHE (Overhead Equipment) wires to halt rail traffic in both directions. Our guard and loco pilots acted promptly to detach the affected coaches. Thankfully, all passengers were able to disembark safely; there have been no casualties or injuries. Four coaches were affected by the fire...We have arranged a special train for the passengers from Sarai Banjara, and they have already departed for their respective destinations. Arrangements for food, as well as buses, were also made for them. As for the cause, it is very difficult to determine it at this preliminary stage. We will await the forensic report, and based on the subsequent analysis and inquiry, we will conclude"

Northern Railway CPRO Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay stated that the train stopped safely after its safety system was triggered near Sarai Banjara station. The fire is being brought under control; senior officials are on-site, and no injuries have been reported.

Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan: Two cement pillars supporting railway tracks damaged in a suspected blast near 50 GB village on the Anupgarh-Suratgarh railway line. An FSL team is being called to the spot to examine the evidence. It is too early to ascertain the exact nature of the incident. काकीनाडा टाउन–हिसार–काकीनाडा टाउन रेलसेवा एलएचबी रेक से होगी संचालित
रेलवे द्वारा यात्रियों को बेहतर एवं आरामदायक यात्रा सुविधा उपलब्ध करवाने के उद्देश्य से काकीनाडा टाउन–हिसार–काकीनाडा टाउन रेलसेवा का संचालन एलएचबी रेक से किया जाएगा।
उत्तर पश्चिम रेलवे के मुख्य जनसंपर्क अधिकारी श्री अमित सुदर्शन के अनुसार गाड़ी संख्या 17295/17296, काकीनाडा टाउन–हिसार–काकीनाडा टाउन रेलसेवा काकीनाडा टाउन से दिनांक 05 जनवरी 2027 से तथा हिसार से दिनांक 08 जनवरी 2027 से एलएचबी रेक से संचालित होगी।
एलएचबी रेक से संचालित होने वाली इस रेलसेवा में कुल 22 डिब्बे होंगे। इनमें 01 फर्स्ट एसी, 03 सेकंड एसी, 05 थर्ड एसी, 07 द्वितीय शयनयान, 04 साधारण श्रेणी तथा 02 पावर कार के डिब्बे शामिल होंगे।

उत्तर मध्य रेलवे ने दिल्ली–हावड़ा कॉरिडोर के 69.5 रूट किलोमीटर लंबे करछना–मिर्जापुर रेलखंड पर स्वदेशी 'कवच 4.0 (SIL-4)' की सफल कमीशनिंग की है। इसके साथ ही उत्तर मध्य रेलवे का कवच नेटवर्क बढ़कर 785 रूट किलोमीटर हो गया है।
स्वदेशी तकनीक से लैस कवच 4.0 ट्रेनों की टक्कर रोकने, सिग्नल उल्लंघन की स्थिति में स्वचालित ब्रेक लगाने तथा सुरक्षित रेल परिचालन सुनिश्चित करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा।

इंदौर–दाहोद नई रेल लाइन परियोजना के अंतर्गत धार–टीही के बीच लगभग 47 किलोमीटर लंबे रेलखंड पर 02 नवंबर 2026 को 130 किमी प्रति घंटे की गति से स्पीड ट्रायल सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न किया गया। निर्माण विभाग द्वारा किए गए इस ट्रायल के दौरान नवनिर्मित रेल ट्रैक, ओएचई (विद्युत लाइन) एवं सुरंग की कार्यक्षमता का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया गया।
इस रेलखंड का रेल संरक्षा आयुक्त (CRS) द्वारा 05 एवं 06 नवंबर 2026 को निरीक्षण किया जाएगा। निरीक्षण के दौरान 130 किमी प्रति घंटे की गति से निरीक्षण यान चलाकर रेल ट्रैक एवं अन्य संरचनाओं की संरक्षा संबंधी जांच की जाएगी।
रेलवे द्वारा आमजन से अपील की जाती है कि सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से रेल लाइन से उचित दूरी बनाए रखें तथा स्वयं एवं अपने पशुओं को रेलवे ट्रैक के आसपास न जाने दें। निरीक्षण एवं परीक्षण के दौरान विशेष सतर्कता बरतें और रेलवे द्वारा जारी सुरक्षा निर्देशों का पालन करें।

VIDEO | Bengaluru: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inspects the bullet train manufacturing unit at BEML, where a squeeze test is conducted. He says, "The first bullet train we have designed as per international standards. This is the roof wall, this is the side, these are the side walls and that is the cab. And those are the end walls. So, the entire structure is designed as per international standards and it is undergoing the most rigorous squeeze test because when the train runs at those very high speeds, then around the train, a vacuum gets created..."

This train will connect the two major cities through an overnight train journey. The inaugural train will depart from Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru (SMVT Bengaluru) and reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai.

#WATCH | Varanasi, UP | Union Minister for Railways Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw to flag off new Vande Bharat Sleeper Express services between Varanasi and New Delhi from Varanasi.
He says, "The Vande Bharat Sleeper is an excellent service for overnight journeys. It has been designed with great care; every detail was considered during the design process. There are toilet facilities for the loco pilots, and special attention has been given to the arrangements for accessing the middle and upper berths. If you take a look inside the train, you will see that a dedicated pantry area has been provided, along with separate storage facilities. Regarding the stairs provided for climbing onto the berths—great care has been taken to ensure passengers can climb up comfortably. There are separate charging points for passengers in the upper berths and for those in the lower berths. Every aspect has been designed with passenger needs in mind. Additionally, there are dedicated seats for the train crew and loco staff; if you look at the end of this coach, you’ll see a space specifically arranged for the staff"

रेलवे ने बीच रास्ते उतारा सभी यात्रियों को….. बच्चे, महिलायें और बुजुर्ग हुए परेशान।
14030 मेरठ कैंट - श्रीगंगानगर पैसेंजर क्षमा कीजिए एक्सप्रेस जो आज आंशिक रद्द होकर अपने प्रारंभिक स्टेशन से एक घंटा देरी से चली। रेवाड़ी पहुँचते पहुँचते वो गाड़ी लगभग 03.30 घंटे की देरी से हो गई।
चलती गाड़ी दौरान कंट्रोल को ध्यान आया की अब तो @GMNWRailway का हरियाणा क्षेत्र आ गया , सिंगल लाइन है और इस सेक्शन लोगों को ज़्यादा फ़र्क़ भी नही पड़ता। ठंडे लोग है, कुछ कहेंगे नही और ना ही बोलने वाले कोई नेता है। इसीलिए रेवाड़ी-बठिंडा सेक्शन पर संचालित श्रीगंगानगर के लिए एक मात्र ट्रेन को आंशिक रद्द करते हुए हिसार तक कर दिया। (वैसे पिछले एक महीने से ऐसा हो रहा है)
जब आदेश जारी हुआ, गाड़ी रेवाड़ी से श्रीगंगानगर के लिए निकल चुकी थी। अब इसमें तो सभी सवारी अनारक्षित है। किसी के पास SMS के माध्यम से सूचना नही पहुँची होगी। ना किसी को refund मिलेगा।
अब वो गाड़ी 21.00 बजे हिसार पहुँचेगी, और यात्रियों के पास श्रीगंगानगर तो छोड़िए बठिंडा जाने के लिए गाड़ी नही होगी , सुबह 05.00 बजे से पहले।
क्या यात्रियों के ठहरने व भोजन की व्यवस्था करेगा रेलवे? बच्चे, महिलाओं और बुजुर्गों सहित आम यात्रियों को हुई असुविधा के लिए कौन ज़िम्मेवार है? @AshwiniVaishnaw @drmbikaner @GM_NRly @narendramodi @RailMinIndia @aajtak @Dchautala @DeependerSHooda
